He handled college fine, he'll be okay.

He didn't handle college fine at all. Left Minnesota under a cloud, couldn't bring himself to travel to Kentucky.

I'm sure the Rockets will find a way with Royce though.

i had no idea about his college travel. thx for the info mess.

Add Kobe to the list of NBA players that are feeling the new flopping rule. During training camp reporters asked him about his thoughts on the matter and Kobe took some shots at cats that flop regularly. He said,
'’I'd love to see it have an impact on the game itself. I think in international play a technical foul is the penalty for it. Free throw and get the ball back, that sort of thing. But I like the rule. Shameless flopping is just a chump move. We’re familiar with it because Vlade kind of pioneered it in a playoff series with Shaq. And it worked pretty well for him.”
Bryant is right. According to FIBA rules, flopping is a technical foul. That would be awesome if the NBA adopted those rules, but let's wait and see how this new system pans out.
We no likey the floppy.

Um... Divac was a Laker too right? #justsaying

yeah but he learnt that at sactown and the hornets j/k

i am surprised and intrigued with your line of reasoning. it is endemic of bigfooty, and society in general today.

at no stage was i suggesting that lakers dont flop. everyone flops.

also of interest, in an obtuse related way, is the issue of diving/flopping. footy/rl fans have long ridiculed soccer players for the dive. but now its creeping into our codes here. oh but thats different.

anyway, i digress. i cant remember what my point.

Apparently our first unit will be:

Horford
Smith
Korver
Stevenson
Teague

So how's the draft talent for next year?

Just keep your hands off Shabazz, please.

I heard the Lottery has already been decided though and the Magic have the first pick.

I wonder what kind of odds you could get for picking the Magic to get the 1st pick? Worth a punt I reckon.
