Brilliant win today guys and it's great to be back on the winners list, and doing it so well.

I'll probably have to hold off on the stats until Thursday as my spreadsheet is at work but in the interim will call out some big games, in particular Marlowe, Paddles_, GreyCrow, nahnah, Danger in Texas and Gadzorks. Saying that not a single player let themselves or the team down, it was a huge win.

Yeah mate, we just post all week (everybody is different) and then the sim decides it all for us in the end.

You should check out the greater forum too... the ladder thread is popular and you get a bit of media etc. We do everything the AFL does so eventually we have the All-SFA, the EKA (rising star), the Mobbs Medal (Brownlow). It's all interactive.

It's funny the difference a week makes in this place. Languishing in last spot after a putrid first round we left little to the imagination in dissecting and disintegrating the Gumbies, making literal orphans of their children, all leading to an incredible rise to sit second on the table after the round. Again, the #stackedsix were miserly, the mids fired and even better, the forward line actually scored goals. It was the exact type of game that won this club its first premiership and it's nice to see it's still in our arsenal. The posting is still a fair bit down, hopefully in the coming weeks we can start to see some heavy hitters return.

We're back home for Rd 3, hosting the Bombers. It's imperative to kick on in winning fashion and not start with a poor home record. Hopefully we smash the sh*t out of them.

Captains Address

Bit of an odd game all round this one, the Bombers led at all changes and as much as we kept trying to regain the lead, including doing so with a few minutes left in the game, we kept letting the Bombers in to score. They applied a lot of forward pressure as on too many occasions they would turn a behind into a 7/8/9 point play and this in the end was what let us down the most. As a result we have gone 0-2 at home and with an away trip to the Roys coming up in Rd 4 if we don't keep up our away form we will be well and truly behind the pack in our premiership defence.

For the game nahnah was beastly in the middle and the half back line, led by brahj worked tirelessly. The forward line was mostly functional. Special mention goes to ShaunDuggan, dragged early to manage -1 DT points for the game.

Posting wise, we grew again from Rd 2, recording 322 posts from 16 posters. It was a bit of a slow burn with more activity around the sim, hopefully we can make a big impact in Rd 4.

The good news for Rd 4 is we head off celebrating a milestone game, with Smartys Power celebrating his 250th match. He's been a sensational asset with the Royals, stuck fat through some tough times and I'd like to make sure this is a happy occasion for him this week. Hopefully we smash the shit out of them.

Ah. Well, what can you do. Another game we barely lost, but one we were barely in. We're simply not seeing the form or effort from Season 30 and it shows right through. Positives this week, Marlowe and nahnah tackled their guts out and very well may take Mobbs votes off the Roys. The forward line was functional and defence was also solid enough, apart from fitzroybowiedog getting off the chain. GreyCrow dominated the hitouts but had issue around the ground. All things we can work on next week, as we're back on the road to meet the 8th places Hawks, fresh off a flogging. It's a vital win as a loss will see us two games out of the 8. We will have to make some changes though and that goes from back to front as every line is showing staleness. Percentage is still strong though which may be our saving grace.

Posting wise, the main positive is we had six posters over 20 posts but the negative is the little support behind. We had three less posters than last week which is a shame as the Roys are very easy to post with. I think the Hawks also give a good show so potential is there for a decent week all round.
