In football there are stories of non payment to players.
I've always had positive dealings with Chinese corporations (99% of the time). They do the job, and work hard at achieving the goal. Minority of times there's been a hiccup.

I think Pickford is better than Butland and Pope as well but I can at least sort of understand why you'd put them ahead.

Forster has been on the bench since their 5-2 drubbing on Boxing Day (9 games). Should be nowhere near the England team.

The three I'd take would be Pickford, Butland and Ben Foster.

No point taking Pope as well because then that's three keepers with minimal international experience let alone tournament experience. Ben Foster as third choice makes sense because he was in the squad for the last World Cup and also because he isn't Joe Hart.

Butland has made some shocking errors of late. Don't rate any of the England keepers.

Can't believe how quickly Hart has declined. Would not be surprising to see him shipped off to the likes of MLS / China in summer.

I can see it now. Defence and keeper are absolute pish yet it’ll be the strikers and midfield pilloried in the press when the inevitable happens and England are knocked out.

They’ll need to score 3 a game to win given how weak they’ll be at the back.

I doubt we’ll concede three against the other two teams in the group. There’s about half a dozen teams in the world who will make mincemeat of our defence though and Belgium are one of them

I agree about your defence in general, and I’m sure you’ll be fine in the first 2 games, but I think you’re underestimating how many questions there are over this Belgian team. Huge pressure on them, traditionally mentally weak and massive doubts over the manager. It’s essentially the same team Wales dismantled at the Euros.

With virtually all of them playing in England you get the feeling they are really going to turn up for that particular game though. Got a shit manager that’s true - but Christ with the players they have they should be among the tournaments favourites.

Pickford is overrated. In a far superior team to all of the competition for his spot yet can't make the spot his own says it all really
