You make this too easy. Couldn't have set this up better for a one line retort if you tried.

It was unnecessary when played by a small few clubs in season, now it's a joke adding to the games played, and shortening players breaks. Something players and managers have been complaining about for a while.
As I suspected.

You're a weird man.

I merely questioned why some teams got in. Then commented on the general fixture congestion
You can add it to the list of competitions you don't watch any more.

When it comes down to it, I don't care if people don't like the competition or want it to happen. But just be honest about that and say you think there's too much football rather than try to invent some sort of controversy about why clubs were chosen when there's perfectly reasonable rationale.

For me, I'm looking forward to it. As I was the last club world cup. I don't expect supporters of clubs that aren't playing in it to be remotely interested, and that doesn't bother me one bit.

I expect it will add a burden on our squad in terms of games, but I also expect the club to manage that. For those clubs not playing, it won't affect them at all and they will be free to play there post season, pre season friendlies across the world instead.

This really triggers you for some reason. You watch it, I won't try and stop you.

I was honest with it and wasn't creating controversy. Merely queried the reasoning behind some clubs entries.
Once answered it confirmed that FIFA, like UEFA, cares only for the dollar bill. And like everything else in club football it is corrupted by wealth and greed.

If players and coaches from clubs all across Europe can comment on, and complain about fixture congestion in football then why can't everyday football fans discuss that? With UEFA increasing matches played for its competitions and FIFA expanding both its Club and International World Cup fixtures there's a trend to favour the dollar bill over player welfare.

Triggers? No, but I do find it amusing how much time you spend discussing the intricacies of a sport you never tire of reminding us you've walked away from.

And all I suggested is that you didn't really care how teams were chosen for the tournament, and that there wouldn't be any rationale that would satisfy you.

You're not an everyday football fan as you keep reminding us.

No. I have said my interest in EPL has waned since it is dominated by a club that cheats. I have watched plenty of championship football and Bundesliga.

Just because you say it is so doesn't make it true.
Nice deflection though.

Broken Thigh Bone apparently, which under the circumstances is a good result.

That's one of the most painful breaks you can have. The muscles in that area are some of the strongest in the body and they go into spasm.

Given that he's 34 it could be career ending but looking at the wreckage he's probably lucky to still be alive.

Why the Bundesliga?

Pretty much just the richest club cannibalising and winning it every season.

Career ending is a good result from what I was expecting.

I can at least respect their 50 + 1 fan control ownership rules.

If that's really the wreckage and he's only come out with a broken thigh, then he should buy a lottery ticket (not that he needs to given the amount of money he has, but I'm sure you get the point I'm making).

Gees maybe he should take up cycling. Also sometimes the photos of the car like one yesterday are after they've used equipment to get people out like jaws of life ..so may not necessarily be seeing actual accident damage.

A club existing solely to remind all others in London (inc. Non league) that they're not the worst in the capital.
