I've seen WC play outside WA 4 times for 0 wins.
I think I was 0-3 interstate, including being rolled by a bottom-of-the-ladder Melbourne in front of less than 20,000 at the G. Finally saw us beat the Saints at the Dome with my toddler in tow, took him again in 2019 and beat Carlton. Little bugger doesn’t know how good he’s had it.

I am 1 from 3 interstate. Watched us from a corporate box at the SCG in 2005 or 2006 and at one stage we were up by 5 or 6 goals. We went on to lose. 2009 we lost to Norf at Docklands. My 1 win was the 2012 EF against Geelong at the MCG.

I've seen some cracking games away:
Beating the Pies in 2000 https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=1163
Beating the Blues in 2010 https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=5027
Losing to the Crows in 2012 (finals) https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=5545
Our only draw against Sydney in 2013 https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=5617
Thrashing Melbourne in Darwin in 2014 https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=5887

But also been to the Geelong thrashing at Kardinya Park and the GF loss.

Collingwood at MCG in 2005 and 2006 (both wins), St Kilda at Docklands 2007 and Carlton at Docklands 2008 (both losses), Port Adelaide at Football Park 2011 (win), Sydney at SCG in 2012 and 2013 whilst living over there (a loss and a draw), 2013 GF (loss) and Melbourne in Darwin 2016 (loss).

Chinese restaurant next to the Chicken Treat does a great BBQ pork rice...

Fun fact*

The girl who worked at Kardinya Chicken Treat circa 1998 was so smoking hot that the local boys launched a campaign to vote her into FHM's 100 Sexiest Women that year (usually reserved for celebrities obviously) - which apparently was going quite successfully until her parents found out and contacted the magazine to let them know she wasn't 18 yet.

*Apocryphal story

I've never met a uni student that lives in Kardinya other than one that still lives at home. It's not Karawara/Vic Park or Nedlands but it makes sense there would be students living there.

As to why you would live there you could say the same about most Perth suburbs. It has its pros and cons, but most importantly it is riff raff friendly. I have friends there and they have a family home on a big block (8-900 sqm). The same property in Melville, Booragoon, Bateman would be $1m+.
