Yep, enjoyed those cushy COVID days, but now the state is rolling money and he has an insurmountable lead, he can't hack it :$
Dumb troll saying dumb troll things.

Remember when he said the smart freeway was a complete waste of money because he thought it stayed on 24 hours a day and then disappeared for weeks when it was pointed out it was only on during peak times?

Lol

Parts of them are on at all times?

How often late at night do you have to slow down to 80 due to "vehicle in the emergency bay"?

Eh you only need to look at the amount of backlash he is facing from not doing anything about our health system and the youth + regional crime problems to see that he was starting to flounder and has bailed just before his approval ratings drop.

Not a leader.

I didn’t like McGowan’s special deals with twiggy (free stuff, $1 or cheap) in Exmouth for his resort, the uni building on the river, the rent free offices for mindaroo in Dalkeith, the FNA and the power station to name a few

I didn’t like the lock down once everyone had a chance to vax

I didn’t like the management of the hospital system and poor training and recruitment of nurses

I don’t like the lack of social housing

I didn’t like locking up footy fans but excusing Nev Power and son

I didn’t like letting Collingwood in during the lockdown but not families with need

Most other things were great or good

Definitely a solid pass mark

I didn’t mind him - thought he went okay until he didn’t. The landslide went to his head I think and quite a few of the things he did and said was a man very confident in his position

I was surprised that Cook was beaten on the left by Amber Jade Sanderson but I’m also not surprised that overall he has more support

Him and Saffioti make a good pair and think they’ll do a good job - Sanderson on the other hand would see me going independent with my vote

Have you met Rita?

Shes an interesting choice

I haven’t - another Amber?

Seems the “talent” is very thinly spread
You really only need 3 talented pollies at state level and the rest to not F'up.

As for Rita shes talented & works hard but more of a worker bee than a leader.

Her camera presentation requires work.

Saffioti just doesn’t have the polish of McGowan or Cook, but she has experience in Treasury and works hard so could be a good choice for Treasurer.

Sanderson will probably be leader sooner rather than later but she got outplayed today and has probably learnt a valuable lesson about counting chickens.

I wonder if McGowan received any heat behind the scenes for his stance on China.
“His stance” ??

And who would the heat have come from

I don’t have any issue with him calling out the federal opposition. There fear mongering cost sectors in this country a great deal of money and for what.. so good old US of A could step in and pick at the carcus

I’d suggest what ever it relates to happened last year when Alannah quit

Alannah had slurped so much from the trough she was ready to burst. It was obviously time to take advantage of her ridiculous pension.

what I find interesting is both sides of politics had respect for alannah and the chair sniffer. The common response was "if you want something done, go see them"

I guess they were both functioning substance abuse politicians

The general vibe was that they were competent pollies but they needed minders at social events especially Buswell.

You cannot make this up.

I've been trying to start a rumour that he stood down so as to be ready to coach the eagles next year.. 😆

I don't have a problem with Alannah other than she floated around politics for too long, state, fed, local, back to state, and became convinced she deserved certain privileges. Buswell was just bizarre when you look back at what he got up to. Could have been premier.
