Solved The Peter Falconio Disappearance

Get the drones up in the air. Finance me to do it and I will spend 6 months up there looking for ground disturbances ( by animals and erosion) or look for possible sites that could be utilized.
Will this be before or after you find MH370?

Listened to the case files on this one (along with Lousie Bell, Carly Ryan, the Beaumont's, Snowtown murders - a lot of ****ed up individuals in that one and the Port Arthur Massacre) one thing that was mentioned was about another combie van with tourists that were harassed by a man in a similar vehicle and a lady that did drugs and spent a few days (think they were referring to it being Murdoch) with a bloke surely they could have got a better description of the vehicle and person from these people. (Edit hadn’t got to the end of the podcast, the lady did say it was Murdoch she had met on the road)
Also in Lee's testimony she says she ran for what it seemed like ages and hid under a tree, after he searched for her with a flashlight he turned the vehicle to face the scrub, she was worried that he would see her again. She couldn't have run far at all?
Doesn't really make sense.

I remember seeing Murdoch coming out of court after being convicted. He was adamant the cops had set him up. Kept calling it out and he looked like he believed it.
Murdoch had been on the radar of the cops for ages and it has been suggested that they planted DNA to get him convicted. They just seized the opportunity.

I do believe Murdoch was guilty but he seemed like he knew he did not leave DNA and that the evidence had been planted.

*bump*
Channel 7 running this again atm ...
Did they get the right guy.... was Joanne Lees involved... was it an insurance job, and Peter is still alive?
One things thats always bothered me is if he was running pot up and down the Sturt Hwy (something hes admitted) why would he pull over 2 complete strangers with a ute full of hydroponic drugs and draw attention to himself for the sake of a thrill kill ? By all accounts he was a methodical and extremely careful individual. This would be completely reckless... not how many describe him.

Typical Channel 7 garbage so far.

Let’s make the woman look like a bitch and then we’re convinced she’s guilty.

It’s been going on since the dark ages ffs. Same reason they burned them at the stake.

Who gives a **** if she was having an affair? It’s hardly a secret.

And Andrew Fraser, ffs. He’s trying to save himself, not Brad Murdoch.

Funny how the cop and the police media officer, both of whom were there and on the case at the time, said they believe her.

Here’s an actual relevant question: how did she come to be running out in front of a semi on the highway with her hands manacled? How did she have blood on her shirt that was Murdoch’s ****ing DNA!?

“Documentary” needs to address that to be taken seriously.

agree, always thought the randomness of these murders just didn't make sense, why would he risk doing this? Not at all saying Joanne is guilty. But we are definitely not being told the whole story. Here are two scenarios I've been thinking of -
a) They knew Murdock and were involved in drugs themselves in some way and something went horribly wrong? But in this case Joanne would have to rely on Murdock not to say anything and I would think if Murdock was going down for murder, he would make sure Joanne went down for dealing or similar too.
b) They are not the first Murdock has murdered.

I remember reading that Falconio/Lees decided to run drugs (to fund their holiday), and decided to keep the cash, leading to the current state of affairs.
This would connect them to Murdoch, a declared drug runner, but also be why Joanne Lees isn’t coming across as credible- she’s only telling a part of the story.

ch7's documentary was a bit repetitive at times. Looked like the ex defence lawyer is trying to save his career by supporting Murdoch.

The witness story was interesting, seemed like Joanna and Peter might've been involved in drugs which explains their connection with Murdoch.

Plus, I got the impression the NT cops wanted to arrest someone ensuring the case is closed for good.

I missed it, was it just the 1 part? Which it sounds like.

Need to see if I can get it somewhere.

I have to do more reading, it sounds very dodgy.
Her statements to police are very vague. Police surely had her as number 1 suspect

Believe it or not, they didn’t.

A vehicle and man matching the description she gave was caught in the area on a service station CCTV.

They found him and the blood of the attacker on her t-shirt matched his.

That was the #1 suspect - the bloke who actually did it - believe it or not.

I wouldn't be so quick to fall for the old babe in the woods, or in this case babe in the dessert routine..

What about this theory..

Murdoch was just the handler and paid the price for letting it get out of hand, that's why he's kept his mouth shut.
My guess is they were using backpackers for quite a while to run the drugs from Sedan to Broome to avoid being caught, Murdoch was to shadow them, the
kombi broke down along the way, probably not its first time at the rodeo either and being the bush mechanic he was known to be, it was during those repairs that BM came in contact with Leese leaving his DNA.
The cops knew about it and were ready to pounce when PF and JL took a detour to Uluru where they guided them back on track, it was on this realisation that they decided to bolt rather than find themselves in the middle of a drug sting but didnt factor in the bigger risk of bolting with the gear.
PF copped the bullet and was removed from the scene, JL was spared with the knowledge that she better keep quiet, manacled by BM and released in time to stop the truck and BM took the rap for ****ing up.
Cops created a narrative which kept the death of a British tourist on their watch out of the official story.

A picture which all the pieces fit.
