No show with out the undisputed heavyweight champion of Pieman - with more emphasis on the heavyweight rather than champion

For all those who don't know, I'm not a grassman at the moment, I'm a man of leisure travelling around NSW and Qld in my caravan currently in Caloundra so my posts will probably be few this year - some may say that's a good thing!

Welcome back everyone who has already re-entered.

Looks like we'll get 30 or so entries this year. We'll have a better idea after team selections as I suspect a few are holding back for that (including me and my scatterbrain mate RandomDog).

Supplementary Rule - LATE ENTRIES TO THE COMP
We often get someone who wants to join after round 1. (I think it's something that's very near to Wocka 's dark heart.)

Last year I allowed a couple to join before Rd 2 and gave them a random selection for the first round. I'm prepared to do the same this year in case anyone forgets to put their entry in or just discovers the comp for the first time after round 1 and would like to be in it for the year.

However this year the rule will be you can join with a restrospective random selection BUT it comes with a 20% reduction (rounded down).

You can join any time up to and including Round 6 and you will get random teams for all the rounds you missed but all of them will have the 20% reduction.
No new entries after Round 6.

PS: In case anyone thinks this is a smashing strategy to adopt, take a look at where RandomDog finished last year.
It's only there as a safety net in case you miss the starter's gun.

One of the emergencies will become the medical sub. Just a reminder that you can't include the medical sub in your team.
However if there's a late change (before the game starts) you can select the elevated emergency. Anyone in the starting 22 is fair game.
