Yes mate, have read the book the film was based on too (Nicholas Pileggi - Wiseguy (book) - Wikipedia). I'm a sucker for true crime, 60's/70's/80's and gangster flicks so this had it all for me.

I also loved his role in Blow with Johnny Depp, but since my old man died I can't watch that film anymore without getting choked up during one of the final scenes where the son (Depp) records a audio message for his dad (Liotta) before he goes to prison for life.

And he was the voiceover for Tommy Vercetti in GTA Vice City which was a big part of my early teenage years.

News today took the wind out of me, really shocking and sad stuff. Loved him.

I saw this on Twitter, it's fictional and dated 2024 but the tech is there to do it.

It actually sounds good, perhaps all I ever wanted was praise bots idolising my inane posts.

You sure that isn't Mowman ? Absolutely striking resemblance, I had to look twice to make sure. Huge rotund frame with twig-like legs coupled with an enormous snout. A real specimen.

My favourite Podcast (Matt And Shane's Secret Podcast) recently did a 4 episode series with Louis CK going through every single American President and giving their thoughts on them. It wasn't about the politics, but about the character of the men. In part 3 (I think) Louis talks about Nixon and how much he loved him as a child. He was the President at the time when he moved to the USA and he tells a hilarious story about a dream he had about Richard Nixon.
