Doubt I will never see another 9 holes like today.

I used to love the Sheherezade back in the day. It was like you were in Eastern Europe, surly waitresses throwing your food at you with a curious mix of disinterest and spite. You'd go to the Galleon and they'd be too nice to chatty for a hangover, those tough old Polish women were much more my style.
Outside of my friends and family, they made the best chicken soup

Going to the Philippines for work in a months time so had to get myself juiced up on every vaccine in existence today. Legit could die over there, which should come with lots of celebration on here.
George I am going to Manila for 2 days on my way home in September. If u have any tips, let me know. Never been before.

To be honest, my friend who goes there a lot was pretty shocked when , in Manila , from his taxi, he saw a guy with his arm sitting on the sill of his car window, and some lowlife came up and stuck a knife in it.

Keep safe . Stay in a group if others will put up with you.
Wow, I am going in September on my home.

Keep both hands in your pockets at all times and don't travel out alone anywhere LOL

Nah I've never been, not sure what to expect but I'm looking forward to it. Bit of a culture shock and always good to see other parts of the world as long as you don't get robbed

I nearly went to Mexico a couple of years back ( fell through ).

Most places i go to with work i wander round and check the place out during my time off.
Mexico, i was pretty apprehensive and i think it would have been pretty much Hotel bound when not at work.

I was talking to a guy who had been there auditing in a place on the border for several days. They took him back to the USA each night.

Spent a couple of months travelling through Mexico and Cuba a few years ago. Biggest risk in Mexico was having an accident in the car and then getting ripped off by the cops.

Biggest risk in Cuba was alcohol poisoning.

Some of the country areas are no go zones but MC and the tourist towns are safe as.

We bussed our way from MC to Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula then planned to hire a car for a week or so.

Took the car back after a couple days when our local accom people told us about cops scamming "gringos" and the serious s*** we might find ourselves if we had an accident.

Went back to the buses - fantastic and very easy way to get around.

North of MC is pretty dodgy apparently.
