Think you may need a lay down too, very emotional over Lizzy carking it today

I'm sure that Gringo could explain to you how hard it is to be elite and living amongst jealous peasants.

But it is cute how you and our illustrious mod go in to bat for each other.

Chimaev bloody coward what a dog act to turn up that much over the weight limit. Obviously has a few doubts about his ability to put Nate away early and survive the late rounds against a guy with a massive tank.

Diaz should walk and the ufc should now make this guy fight his way through everyone before he gets a shot at a title. Youth and size still not enought just can’t believe it, doubt this guy as good as he has looked is ever a great champion because that requires self belief and the heart of a lion.

I have a royal lineage and I find it quite appealing, I want subjects like that. Tim Smith is an elite level sycophant. I might take my equestrian leathers around to his house and ride him around his lounge room for a few hours. That level of bootlicker is quite rare in the modern world.
So have I my great grandmother xxx god knows what, in royalty in America is described as the daughter of kings and emperors haha. Married my grandfather xxx god knows what in the society event of the season who was the son of prominent revolutionary who left Britain after things turned sour with the restoration haha.

My son has done all the ancestry stuff but this was widely written and researched in books and online so it was pretty easy. I liked the queen and found the news unsettling and depressing. She was a constant in peoples lives and I hate change, woke up at 3.30am flicked on the news and was quite emotional, might have even shed a tear🥹.

PS: someone on the box said she had personally met over a third of britain, that’s some workload. Sounds crazy but there you go, I’m guessing that’s people who shook hands etc up to personal interactions.

I remember Di dying. You couldn't avoid it.
World trade centre I was watching bruce mcavaney on 7 one of the footy shows of the time. Screen goes blank then pictures of the first tower come on. No commentary at first for quite some time, just transfixed as I try to get my head around what’s going on then shock then fear as I had a cousin fortunately he worked in another building and wasn’t in the office.

Di, my wife came and got me and it was the same sort of surreal moment.

My earliest memory of this sort of thing in fact 1 on my earliest memory’s is of the next foot neighbour putting his head over the fence and saying to my father someones shot your president, jfk.

My old man woke me up to come and watch the coverage of 9/11, remember it vividly. My sister was a week old, we had her 21st last week. Time flies.

A workmate and myself had a trip booked to go to NY two days after the planes hit , I remember getting on the jumbo and there would have been lucky to be 20 people on it , more hosties than passengers , The security was off the charts everywhere you went

A family friend moved to Manhattan a few weeks before it happened. That was some welcome to NY.

it’s pretty crazy how perfectly the WTC buildings fell down. Not to mention building 7. I remember my dad bringing home the newspaper that morning and the headline was: “America bombed”

Anyway, the UFC PPV seems a whole lot better now the fights have been changed. Good chance Diaz goes out with a win, which would be great to see. Hopefully he gets the win and goes nuts on the mic after the fight.

I went to the pub before the footy. The pub I went to was a Canberra milk pub until game time. I had to bluff my way through rugba leeg talk.

When you understand the science behind it you can see how it happened.
The twin towers were a steel structure.
The steel structure on each floor gave way giving the pancake effect.

The first I knew of 9/11 was waking up to watch the usual cartoons on 10 and instead it was the news

Wall to wall TV coverage of the Queen's death here, as you would expect. It's driving me mad already and the funeral isn't until the 19th.
Same here. She was a remarkable woman but the thought of Charlie's bonce on the back of our coins is probably enough to get the republic movement up.
