Jinjer are so good. Was at good things festival and had the pleasure of seeing Jinjer AND To the grave live. Electric call boy are fun too. Gojira one of my favourite bands was there too

Funnily enough the biggest let down was the headliners Bring me the horizon
Have had The art of dying by Gojira on repeat for two weeks.

re: BMTH, it seems Oli is losing his vocals to some extent. A shame, but happens to all at some point. I consider Sempiternal a perfect album 🤤

Art of dying is one of those perfect songs. Have you listened to any Belakor? Melbourne band and one of the most respected around the world in melodic death metal. Masters of atmosphere and taking you on a journey in a song. All time favourite metal band these guys

Countless skies, Hidden Window, Smoke of Many fires must listens

I like the first BMTH album thought they went a bit gay after that
They’ve jumped around in genre a lot which I can’t begrudge some I’ve liked more than others. I actually don’t mind the pop metal blend they’ve tried. I listen to a bit of synth pop too so a mix of the two intrigued me. However the style of pop they’re mixing is so boring. Electric call boy does it best I think Hypa hypa is fun as hell and catchy while still having that metal core energy

First 3 for me then they went radio mainstream for a few songs per album and definitely “softer”. Probably made bank by doing so so can’t begrudge them that as EH said 🤷‍♂️
Yeah part of it was his voice was f**ked and he can't scream much anymore

I listened to Eskimo callboy for years weren't very well known outside Germany, got popular once they changed one of their singers.

Great band 👍

If you don’t mind getting a bet heavier on the spectrum and a whole lot more niche there’s this one man experimental band I Drink My Coffee Alone who does this synth Deathcore that absolutely rips

Hey y'all. Im writing something about the country zoning system that f***ed us in then 70's and 80's and led to hawthorns 5 flags, but struggling to find some good information on it. If anyone has a map of the original zones or some more info about how the AFL f***ed us in favour of the hawks that'd be grouse. Cheers!

Hi mate. Hawthorn had Gippsland, Kew, Box Hill, Frankston, Rosebud, Hawthorn and the greater Mornington Penninsula.

We had Ballarat, Mt. Eliza, Karingal and Seaford.

Hope this helps?
