Do me a favour and look at Richmond's record in Melbourne. Then look at Sydney's record at home this season, and away this season. We lose Friday, we're done.

What are the lottery numbers this week mate? Since your so certain of the future.

GC hadnt beaten sydney ever. They were also missing their top 5 from the b&f.

We are currently in the most even competition in years. We could go 5 straight wins, we could lose every single game.
The point is.

Stop talking about your opinion of the future as fact.

If we lose on Friday we're done. It's over. At best we'll be a game and % outside of the 8 with 3 top 8 teams left, two of whom are plausible top 4 finishers. Richmond hasn't lost in Melbourne for over 12 months, Port have a 7-2 record in Adelaide this season with the two losses both coming when they haven't had Ryder in the side and an average winning margin of 25 points. We have to win at least 4 of the last 5, and even that's unlikely to get us in.

There are plenty of unexpected results still to play out this season, that is the only certainty going forward. We just need to hope they favour us more than a couple of others, not a big ask I would have thought:rainbow:

Beat Swans by 70 points as they play at the same level they did last week and we kick straight this week. Hooker rubs Buddy's head.

Beat Hawks by 101 points as Mitchell is a late withdrawal and Clarkson realises he forgot to build a midfield other than one player.

Beat Saints by 30 points as we take mercy on them.

Beat Tigers by 80 points when Riewoldt and Nankervis have minor injuries and Tigers realise they didn't build any depth for 2 of the most important positions on the ground. Fantasia kicks 8.

Beat Port by 60 as we roll into top 4.

Now some might think its unrealistic to think we will have our 4 biggest winning margins in the last 5 weeks against teams in or around the 8 but that's why to balance it out I put St.Kilda win down to 30. :)

If Essendon don't lose another game this calendar year, we'll win the premiership. Doesn't sound like a big ask

Sydney and Hawthorn games are pivotal. Not even worth looking past Sydney yet because losing this week is not a luxury we can afford.

I like some people's optimism, but I can't see how we beat Richmond. They are the Adelaide of last year. We have to plan around Richmond like we did around Adelaide.

Beat Swans by 40-50 points.
Beat Hawks by 30-40 points.
Beat Saints by 10 15 points in a scrappy affair.
Lose to The Tigers by 20-30 points and blame the umps.
Beat Port by 30-40 points with Joey kicking 7.

It's so obvious.

Got the first one right so far
