Liam Pickering has just claimed Buddy will play for another 10 years!
Honestly if he shook your hand you'd be checking if you still had your fingers.

Definition of shit and boring: when SEN wastes their time with bloody horse racing. Seriously, who gives a flying proverbial? There's a frequency up the dial just a bit that covers that "sport" all day every day. How about SEN cover anything but bloody horse racing?
If they are going top do it get KB and Richo back on, they work well together

2 hours of motorsport talk this morning! Are there any survivors on this thread left? Must've been excruciating. They were mostly talking about Bathurst, which is not even that good a race anymore.
Yep. They're pretty different though so it's understandable.i often wonder if there are fans of V8s who detest f1, and vice versa
interesting to hear hutchy yesterday say he's amused by how people call the cost of living allowance the "cola allowance".
cant say ive heard anyone say that
Isn't "COLA allowance" a redundancy in the same way that "ATM Machine" and "PIN Number" are redundancies?
Unless when people say "COLA allowance" they are referring to money they are given to spend on Coca-Cola?
You often wonder? I've found in my observations that the hardened V8 Supercar community/fans have a view of F1 in a similar way hard-core footy fans view soccer. Get what I'm saying?i often wonder if there are fans of V8s who detest f1, and vice versa

I forgot to post this earlier. On sunday morning, I was heading down to Phillip Island. At about 6:30, there's a golf show on, and Marko's on it! (He's everywhere) It sounds live, but I'm not sure if it is (6:30 am for a half hour slot?). Anyway, Marko was telling a story which I'm not sure any of you have heard.
What, and have another 6 hours of Buddy talk, or potentially Matt Thompson? It wasn't as though there was anything else on with A-League and NBL starting next weekend for example. It was the dead Saturday of the year so far (there's another I think in December pre-Christmas).
I believe that's a Crocmedia slot syndicated for the regions as well, same with Rex's fishing show on Saturday Mornings. It used to be the slot for a Lawn Bowls show whose host originated from Brisbane (he did a 2 hour show on Sunday mornings for Radio TAB).

The old lawn bowls show had a drone speaking guy who I liked. Replaced it with two young upstarts with a jazzed up version. It's boring and lacking in content.
Agree ! Liked the Richo KB Dr turf combinations. If they are going top do it get KB and Richo back on, they work well together
No, I given a wrong impression then. When I think about it more, there are similarities between soccer and motorsport fans. It just depends on what is that person's specific taste, depends on what series they get most passionate about. Most people follow F1 (EPL) and some follow V8Supercars as well (A-League). Some may have different taste and mainly follow another series like Nascar (Serie A). The comparison I made with V8sc fans and footy fans, is the bit where they think the comp is going to take over the whole country, then the world. When in actual fact, outside particular markets (not necessarily geographical), no one gives a ****.so upon ignoring the vitriolic undercurrent of your post, and extrapolating the useful parts, ive learnt that f1 and v8 fans are like water and oil, hardcore afl vs soccer, union vs league.
If you were genuinely interested in learning the "vibe of the thing" in motorsport. In car racing, the best example, which highest level possible that is less polluted with BS rules, of motorsport I recommend (based on all that I know, not that I know everything) is paying attention to the Le Mans 24 hours and/or the World Endurance Championship. But particularly Le Mans. Fwiw, the times I've followed it in recent years, I've often thought a condensed version of it is what F1 should be like and has been like.no i posted it because i wanted to get some feedback from posters like yourself who are motorsport fans. see, for non petrol heads like me, i want to get into the sport of car racing etc. but i dont understand the nuances etc. i like to learn about oddities like what type of people follow the sport, or its sub divisions.
Even though V8sc is an Australian catergory, f1 is a better known series, known as a higher level?I'm not much of a motor sport fan but, for some reason, I can get into the F1 much more than the v8s.
Maybe coz I'm a closet snob
The last thing I want is more AFL talk believe me. How about the current trans-Tasman netball series? The first quarter of the European soccer leagues, the NRL Dally M and Grand Final, the form of the Wallabies, the upcoming state cricket competitions, American football, etc, etc, etc. What, and have another 6 hours of Buddy talk, or potentially Matt Thompson?
