Yeah great trade talk people. all i have read so far is people whinging about not being able to get SEN working. Maybe the thread should be renamed "how do I get SEN live feed to work"

Seems to be a couple of people suggesting Green - Whitnall.....thoughts? maybe extra picks involved but Green - Whitnall seems to be the base of the deal

I'm struggling to fathom how Melbourne supporters can ship off Brad Green for Lance Whitnall in a straight swap. The talk of a draft pick being thrown in (to Carlton) is ludicrous.

green is clearly a better/ more consistant player than whitnall therefore melbourne deserve a pick to accompany the ginger ninja, carlton should be happy with just green

Greene has never put together a consistent year of footy, has never made AA and has never been talked of as a star of the game.
Lance, all jokes aside, was a very good player for a number of years, whether he can re-capture that form is the big question. At there best Whitnall is a far more damaging player.

d/w the trade wont happen. Green was 5th in Melbourne's B&F after not the greatest year and we know that he can get better. Possible future captain at the dees. D/W dees fans, first round pick + Bizzell is the likely trade for Whitnall, not Green!

Green and a second rounder for Whitnall. No way would they do that. Green is still improving and was almost all australian last year, he can seriously play. Whitnall isn't getting any younger or fitter, and is inconsistent. His salary demands aren't that inviting either, so I doubt Melbourne would be offering the world for him. Straight swap at best, but carlton would be the ones having to sweaten it from my p.o.v .irish_setanta said:
