Play that Grand Final at Adelaide Oval and we win easily. We were rubbish the next year, and still pumped Richmond at home.

The fact that the 2017 Grand Final was played at the lower ranked and less deserving team’s home ground is due to inherent biases towards Victorian teams.

The only way the AFL will ever create equality in a GF is rotation of where it’s held. A truly National sport would move the game interstate where needed. It was only about twenty years ago that we still had to have a PF played at the G. That just doesn’t stack up in a proper professional competition.

The fact the MCG can lock in the GF for so many years is beyond disgraceful.

The only way they could create equality in the H&A season is to get rid of the 2 derbies a year and allow Victorian clubs to play all their home games at their home grounds.
But that won't happen because , on a more level playing field, it would make it so much more difficult for non Victorian clubs to be gifted unearned places in the top 2, 4 and 8.

They are also prone to black-and-white thinking. Compromise isn’t part of the equation. No wonder that chronic complainers are more likely to see problems instead of solutions, making it very difficult to work with them.
