You might get a ban next season with sloppy team sheets like that

Coney Island Warriors 16.9 (105) defeated Baghdad Bombers 12.6 (78)

The Warriors were clear favourites for this game, with the Bombers coming off the back of their fourth defeat in a row last week. The Bombers didn’t read the script though and were never out of the game, even leading mid-way through the last quarter until the Warriors powered away for a 4 goal win. The game produced some great 1-on-1 battles; KohPhi vs Frankston Rover in the ruck and zackah vs Tony Lynn in the middle but iItsmyshow’s 4 goals were overshadowed by craffles with 5. Warriors kicking 7 goals in the last to take the points.

West Coast Wonders 16.15 (111) defeated Mount Buller Demons 8.12 (60)

The Wonders were starting to hit a bit of form by round 12 but the Demons would have expected to take something from this game. What they did take away was a savage beating by the Wonders. _MKMATTY led the way with 32 disposals and Haydo169, dogs105 and SweetD laying an awesome 24 tackles and PVF kicked 4 goals straight. Brucetiki and DemonJim - playing against his former club - did their best to keep the Demons in it, the latter with 12 tackles, but it wasn’t to be the Demons day.

Roys FFC 16.16 (112) defeated Sin City Swamprats 18.3 (111)

MOTR saw 2 play 4 on the ladder, and a close game was expected. Ant Bear dominated the ruck but all he could do was feed Mooch (35 disposals, 2 goals) and Azarole (24 disposals). Fitzroybowiedog was a tackling machine with 11, while Fred and nahnah kicked 9 goals straight between them. Grav had 17 disposals and when he kicked his fourth goal (4.0) mid-way through the last quarter, he put his team 13 points up and in a comfortable position. However, with 90 seconds to go, the scores were level and a draw looked on the cards. Barrels had other ideas and when he laid out Far Kern on the half back flank, the space opened up in front of him. He ran, he bounced, he ran some more. Fred and nahnah were screaming for the ball but Barrels dummied and found Papa Juggs in space. Juggsy dummied the hand pass, took a bounce and then slotted it ……. Through the point posts. It was enough for a 1 point win for the Roys. This game will live long in the memory.

Dragons FFC 6.12 (48) lost to East Side Hawks 12.6 (78)

With the season taking shape, Dragons and Hawks fronted up to fight for fourth spot on the ladder. Both teams ledgers recorded a win and a loss in their last two games, so the bookies had no idea how to call this one. The Hawks started much the brighter, and kicked 6 majors to the Dragons 2 in the first quarter. iBeng and Ljp86 got on the scoresheet in the second quarter to reign the Hawks in a bit. But that was about the best of it from the Dragons. Despite having the same number of scoring shots at the end (18), the Hawks won comfortably by 5 goals. This was largely due to the terrible innccuracy of iBeng (1.4) and WFL (0,3), and The Filth Wizard - who was BoG with 25 disposals and 9 tackles - kicked 3 straight.

Fighting Furies 13.15 (93) defeated Las Vegas Bears 12.1 (73)

The Furies swaggered into this one on the back of a 7-game winning streak, while the Bears had wobbled in recent weeks. The Furies started like the champagne was already kicking in, missing a plethora of chances, in stark contrast to the very accurate Bears. By half time the Furies had kicked themselves out of the contest (3.11) while the Bears were sitting pretty (7.1). While Kane249 continued to win the taps around the ground, and Doctor Gero kicked 6.0 from six kicks, their team mates didn’t rise to their level. OFFtheBALL lied up to his name, having a single possession for the game. _Cayz_ (3.0) and Tarkyn_24 (4.3) kicked enough to win the game. The toothless Bears failed to register a score in the last quarter.

Geelong Wolves 15.12 (102) lost to Gold City Royals 17.12 (114)

Little was expected from two teams on poor runs and fighting to avoid the spoon. But in a cracking contest that saw 32 goals, it was amazing that only 2 majors seperated the teams at the end. Nakia and BigJoeD got plenty of the ball and fed The Old Dark Navy many times to help him kick 7.3. William Wonka and 06Premiers tried hard, while Nate7 and SM got 3 goals each. In truth, the Royals always did just enough to stay in front - which they did from 3 minutes into the second half all the way to the end - and take home a much needed win.

I for one am grateful towards The Filth Wizard for taking into consideration people with limited bandwidth. He's a real poor people person always looking out for those worthless people.

SM meanwhile just spat foie gras onto the pool deck of his yacht.
