Mrs R dad had 3 cancer cut out of him the other day 8 hours under the knife .
Won't know till 4 weeks if they got it all.
8 hours must take it out of you.

Back when I was sick it was better to cop it while younger.

Today doctors know more than back then.

Mrs is unsure and thinking the worst.
This is absolutely true and something we should be grateful for. My dad died of an issue that is now dealt with routinely 😢

Good luck to your FIL

Sorry to hear about your loss 😥.

The old bugger had these issues for a while.
He had to go to a different doc. Because the first ones did stuff all.

Thanks dogs..

Just said goodbye to one of my cats, never gets easier.

Gah.. I'm preparing myself for this as well with my 10 year old dog. We know he possibly has cancer but we aren't going to put him thru any treatment. He's starting to cough and getting a bit tired and restless.. still smashing his meals though. Gut feeling is its not too far away. Watching our fur mates grow old so quickly sucks so bad.

Seeing the disparity between 2 pups and my shadow (13 almost 14 year old Chihuahua) with regards to playfulness, energy and willingness to play.

My shadow's at a point of her live where she doesn't want the pups clamouring all over her.

I cried like a baby when my Aussie born cat, Jordan, died 15 years ago next week. I brought him to the states when I moved back in 2000. He had a good innings - 17 and a half. One of the funniest moments with him was when I took him outside to see snow for the first time. Actually, that was the ONLY time. I thought he was going to have a heart attack when I put him down into the snow.

He died from kidney failure. That's where I learned what creatinine levels meant for my own current CKD.

You could do one of those sitcom situations where you madly dash between the two.

Little update to this. I went and saw my colleague earlier and took her flowers and a gift and we cried together. Then I raced over to my son’s writing presentation, watched him read his story out on stage and he got second place in his age group 🥰
Well.. I did not see that coming!

I have a 6 month pup and and old guy who is pushing 15. I'll miss him when he goes. Was my only mate for a little while when I first moved over here.
I lost one last year. My other one is 15 and I'm dreading the idea of losing him. On the other hand I did take home my rescue dog on the weekend.

Someone knows or knew something

There was a few suspects I believe.

I felt the same way watching the Vanishing Cousins story on Spotlight last Sunday. Even now family members just want closure.

Think the worst part was hearing that the brother of one of the girls was killed in a car accident three weeks later while out looking for his sister
