Unsurprising in one aspect. He's already done an apprenticeship under Mick at Collingwood. What new stuff can he learn working under him again? Definitely in his interest to move. He'll have no shortage of offers.

Very highly rated from what I can gather - did a great job in tightening up our defence (mainly during Ratten's time).
Bad timing. No club needs a new coach anymore.
Will be interesting to see who comes in to replace him.
Karnezis could be a Griffen clone, but up until this year Griffen was very outside.

Might not be a bad thing anyway.
Time to freshen up more of our assistant coaches.
Not sure we were good enough in any area to lament the losses of our easily replaced assistant coaches. Still like to see Barker go because other teams have shown better structures up forward even when they lack a seriously competitive forward.

What do you guys think of Karnezis? 191cm and kicked 35 goals in 19 games this year. Could be a good medium-tall forward. Could be used in the Jack Gunston role. I think Collingwood are showing a little interest in him.

He was going to take me to Fantasy Football greatness but he didn't show up in the season proper - gone after ~round 3. Not sure if not played in the right position or the H&A was a level up from the NAB Cup that he couldn't grasp?

Jono Brown led their goal kicking with 28 which might explain how poor their list is.
The bloke you mentioned didn't kick a goal, hardly played all year and usually plays midfield or on a flank.
