I don't think Saints have anything which would entice us. I think its all BS anyway seeing as Saints are linked to every single player that seems to be available

Saints reportedly have a tight salary cap due to having so many well paid guns who are veterans. Unless they lose Goddard, I can't see them buying a contracted player such as Warnock. McEvoy could play forward/ruck behind Warnock, but they already have Rhys Stanley for that role. They couldn't field Koschitzke, Riewoldt, McEvoy, Stanley and Warnock. Bulltish.

Wouldn't mind that, they've got a smorgasboard of inside mids - mostly victorian - that we could try and get off them. Wouldn't mind trying to get St Kilda's pick 12 either if that's where he wants to go, even if we had to throw Ellard in as well. Two mid first round picks could set our future midfield up just nice.

I remember seeing Goddard on tv (think it was footy classified) early in the season and they asked if the saints could have one type of player what would it be, he said no offence to mcenvoy but a big hit out ruckmen.
Ellard has close to 0 trade value. So many poster think putting up a barely 22 player will boost their chances in a trade. I would say in order to get pick 12 id even throw in Lucas. Warnock + Lucas -> Pick 12. Pick 12 to GC for Caddy + Toy

No offence but that's way off the mark. Ellard can perform at AFL and at least if a club decides he's the type of player they need on their list he's a decent sweetener to even up a deal. We drafted Lucas for pick 12, he's young and there's no way we'd trade a contracted Lucas as well as Warnock for pick 12. That's way over paying.
Keep Ellard for depth

I would have thought PA, Hawks, Coll, Geel and poss Bullies and Ess could be in the market for a GOOD tap ruckman. With even slightly improved fitness and marking he'd strengthen any of those teams

good tap ruck men don't grow on trees,
after the years of development we've put into him I'd hate to see warnock go,
but if his leave will bring in some good value for the club then i say go for it.
by value i propose the following:
Carlton OUT: Warnock + 3rd rounder OR player
St Kilda OUT: pick 12 + 2nd rounder.
