Yeah exactly my thoughts, sure we will have a couple angry ants over Eddie leaving but that's life.
I think Thomas has shown so much heart for that club and WAS a supporter favourite that they feel the need to act this way. Just their way of dealing with Thomas moving to us.

Anyone else think Buckley is too damn stubborn and old-fashioned for his own good? It's like because he was the ultimate professional when he played he expects all his players to behave the same way.

MM clearly had a pretty laid back nature when it came to off-field behaviour, but he got the best out of his team week in, week out (especially the rat pack), and they loved him, and in turn it got them a premiership.

Now I'm all up for a coach wanting to make his mark and head in a new direction, but Buckley has waltzed in and upsetting the lot of them. And of course the general remark from Collingwood fans, Eddie and Bucks is "rarara if they don't wanna be here and do the work then they can heck orrff!" But the reality is these players have done the work thats why they are premiership players. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but do teams even impose drinking bans these days? During finals? Apart from Buckley?

Just staggering how many players are leaving because of him and Eddie, fans and co aren't even questioning him about it.

It all works out in the end. You now have a decent chunk of the salary cap to play around with, compensatory pick, etc. Fingers crossed Daisy's ankle is all good.
