Hopefully we get luck this Pre Season and no key players succumb to significant injuries.
Why even say it

Hodge looks very overweight in that video... not the kind of condition you want to see your captain leading the troops in.
Hodge and Poppy weren't due back for two weeks, the top Hodge was wearing was about the least flattering thing possible and channel 7 are running with Hawks are done so they will show footage that suits their purpose

Perhaps you're right Gralin but its hypocritical of us to give Motlop & Mitch Clark shit for rocking up to preseason looking like lard-arses and not give Hodgey the same treatment - because he does look fat in that video no two ways about it.

If his current condition proves to be any indication of his level of commitment to 2017 I'll be even more disgusted we let Sammy go instead.

IMHO He's look okay in this photo.

Chill dude it's not even preseason yet for him and he's there working out.

I just don't get these kinds of posts.

Why would you want to diss a player who has never let us down?

Good to Jaeger just get on the field and get to be around the boys.
Would be foolish to see him out there doing much more than walking, handball drills, reflexes and weights.
Slowly work him into it hawks

No reason as to why Jaeger shouldn't be ready for Round 1 in 4 months time provided he does not suffer setbacks.

i see every reason. id prefer to be more cautious. What we gave up was no joke and we can't afford to see him go down early in the season. Even if his knee is good after the 4 months other parts of his body could have weakened. for me it is just too risky.

"It's going to be weird rocking up to preseason without someone kicking balls at people" - Sammy Mitchell seems like the kind of shitstirrer that I would love to hang around.

I can remember a couple of interviews where the player has been hit by the footy. That must have been Mitch. When you think of it, a bit of fun has gone west with Mitch and Hilly leaving.

How about we just keep him in cotton wool forever so that way he never gets injured haha.
