I guess you don't want to talk about the 6 wins from the 7 games before that...

I'll let this series play out first obviously, but Steph fans are so adamant that KD was just along for the ride when in reality they have won one ring without KD and it was against a solo LeBron taking 35 shots a game.

I'm more against the KD slander than the Curry praise fwiw, Steph is great.

I'm not part of the "KD was along for the ride" team. That's just stupid.

"They only have one ring without KD" is also a terrible argument. They were great for 2 years before KD and obviously would have been a contender for the following years if KD didn't turn up.

I agree that people saying KD was just along for the ride are morons but if you want to start applying context lets do it in full.

That team was extremely top heavy once KD arrived, once he went down that Raptors series was always going to be tough.

That stat from reddit was including the game that KD got injured so somewhat misleading.

Also game 3 of that series he also had no Klay so his starting 5 was

Steph - Green - Iggy - Cousins - Livingston

That starting 5 has no business being in the finals, and they had no bench. Game 6 they were a very good chance of winning before Klay went down and Steph was dealing with Box and 1 defence which was only viable because he had 0 offensive help.
