^ Ty had a shocking year, let's be frank. I'd be surprised if we off-loaded him after only one season (changing clubs take time) & on his current wage salary; it's just not beneficial.

Conversely, his contract set-up doesn't allow him to perform below par next year - it's crunch time for Ty in 2018.

Couldn't we extend Tys contract for a year on minimum wage and spread it out over the 2 years ? so he's getting 320 a year. That was the original plan anyway wasn't it ?

I don't think FA contracts can be altered.
Makes it too easy to manipulate

Edit: they might be able to be altered but the original contract is what counts in TPP

Yeah he can be traded but we cop the full $500,000. Mind you if we have to make up for being under the cap this year and we get a decent offer for Vickery then this could be a way to do it.

I could be wrong but my understanding is if we trade him we would only have to include it should that be part of the deal, but if he retires then we must include the full amount

I never said either were gone or delisted.
I responded to seysearles & put a 50/50 line thru their names.

Poppy has apparently been offered a decent contract from GWS & would be silly not to seriously consider it as he turns 30 this year.

As for TV being contracted, that does not mean he can't be traded.
Surprisingly, I have heard another club is considering his services. Whether they inquired about him or we put his name up, I'm not sure. But it isn't completely out of the question.

If you want to tell people to stop being 'silly'
then maybe start with the posters who keep mentioning Breust.
FFS, he met with Clarko last year & asked if the rumours were true. He told Clarko that he wants to stay at Hawthorn & not go anywhere else. Then signed a 4 yr contract.

To answer question I see Breust for Lever as a close to even deal based on Breust age and known output Vs Levers age and potential improvement.
For me I'd only be moving Breust for and mid, be that an inside beast or outside runner.
