I think pup is highly underrated outside the club walls. Unbelievable to see our own turn on him. He is the epitome of what our great club stands for. A selfless player who always puts his team mates first. He is the first player to put a block on, the first player to lay a tackle and nearly always comes out of bottom of the pack last. He would have the most 1 %ers in the club.
He may not be flashy or rack up the possies but he would be one of our most important players, anyone who disagrees has probably never played a game of footy in their life or has no idea what their on about.
Rant over, thanks

Wouldnt happen unless there was elite talent involved. No point getting picks if we cant use them to our need which is elite talent not just highly talented ones. And if that were going to happen, rioli be worth much more to gws and could do almost straight swap for greene or shiel (if those 2 wanted to go home) or kelly, giants would bloody love rioli up there.
If GWS offered a straight swap of Rioli for Kelly it would be awfully tempting. Shiel doesn't impress me nearly as much, nor Coniligio.

I don't think we did overestimate our list. If we did that then Mitchell & Lewis would not had been traded

Lol please link that is an outrageous comment, he must think vickery is linchpin of our next premiership and TOM/JOM are 28 year olds

Was talk about that Gunston might be open to a trade earlier in the year, What would be his value roughly

Two first rounders - or a first and a quality player. He's now a player who can kick 40-60 goals a season, especially if he's in a side where he's not drawing the best defender. He's also now very handy as an intercepting/rebounding defender. Is a leader at our club also - I don't see how he's not a two pick - pick/player kind of value.

A friend send me a text saying he's heard the club is trying to trade TV. He's a Richmond supporter so nothing he says can be trusted, of course. But I'm still curious to hear if anyone else knows of this rumor with more than idle gossip.

i think i heard Damian Barrett say that behind the scenes we were desperately trying to offload TV, but there was no interest from any clubs or was it Footy Feed on the afl site? i cant remember

Considering we knocked back pick 21 last year for him ( plus Whitex) , I would be livid if it were well below that.

They got Witherden with that pick....wowee.

Hartung was more of an unknown at that stage in terms of responsibility in the team, the question you have to ask is if he's increased his value, or is it the same.
North Melbourne fell for the unknown in Jed Anderson, we fell for the unknown in O'Rourke

Contracted gun. Can play forward or back, runs both ways, a leader, good hands, great disposal. Would not trade under any normal circumstances.
If he was desperate to leave for some unknown reason, I would want a very high price. Whitfield / Lever type value, IMHO.

Henderson as top 20 and Liam Shiels as squad depth... you do realise that only one of those two is our vice captain and it aint Hendo...
I suggest we ask Clarko if a 3 time premiership player makes our best22

Easy fixed guys Davo 27 said top 20 but at 21 and 22 he fits into the team every week.:D:thumbsu:

I hope the club keeps Heatherley. Still only 22, I feel he has a lot of improvement left to come and he may form a decent defensive combo alongside Brand.

Heatherley had a season high in disposals, marks, intercept marks and rebound 50s last week and was close to best on ground.

Now obviously he maybe traded hence why he remains unsigned, but if he isn't traded the club should keep him as he could offer us something at center half back for next season. In the limited games he played at AFL level he was quite good. He beat Jeremy Cameron and Darcy Moore.
