Just can't remember a time when the 2nds would get within 10 goals of the seniors - obviously there's been affiliations at some stages. But this side would go close to winningg. Definitely good to have a strong VFL side but not so good on the flipside.

The 2s are a very good VFL team but they’d get absolutely blown off the park by our 1s and would lose by an average of 100 points in the AFL at least.

Can see this 2s team going all the way this year. The way they're coached style of play and the fact even the vfl listed players are good!

Yes they'd be beaten by 100 points by 90% of AFL sides but not by West Coast and not by our seniors.

Our seniors aren't AFL standard - yes they're playing in the AFL competition but number 1, they aren't collectively fit enough to be competitive at that level - not even close. And they're not skilled enough, don't make enough good decisions. Plus 6 to 8 of today's AFL side are VFL standard players whereas the VFL side has proven AFL players in it.

Nah, the only footy my kids are enjoying this year is the VFL, and they were concerned that the 'bad players' from the AFL would take spots.

One of the better vfl players, but strikes me as a highly competitive undersized battler that lacks a bit of athleticism.
