I won't deny it.
I'm loving the hate.

Enjoy your time at a club that slides back to its position of insignificance Tom.
You had your chance and you blew it.
F*** you.
We don't need you.

Disclaimer: If a shock announcement is made that he is coming to us then I will deny I ever said the above things.
What things, never read anything;)

I know this is so last week, maybe even last month. But I sat next to a Richmond supporter last night, who was very friendly and generous in his praise of us.

I know, surprising.

Anyway he runs a pub which is popular with Tiger players. And Lynch has been there with them.

Right now, I couldn’t care less.

He can join them for mad Monday :)

Don’t hate Tom, wants to play with his mates, over a club that he once loved, ok with that, some way has taken the easy road, that 9thmond would win it again and looking for a third.
Had his chances to get on board with us, but continually knocked us back, so was never on board, never thought we would contend.
Hard, yet the best part would have been to help a club that was on the verge of success getting there, being part of it, now he has been left behind. So be it.
Mates are good, but history is better, missed the boat Tom.
Good luck being with a minnow club again.

Got this off the Tuggers thread...

"We don't have enough cap space factoring in Lynch for us to drastically change our midfield around, so this is the area we need to change for our midfield to improve"

They're going to screw their list/cap paying massive money to a player they don't really need....they need a ruckman and inside mid.

We dont need Lynch either and I'm so happy he chose the Tuggers....Buddy Mark II (selfish player who'll bring no success).

We drafted in guns to fill our needs, not just because they weew guns, and we're reaping the rewards.

We don't need him, but it would be fairly hilarious if Lynch ends up choosing us over the Tigers now. That'd be like rubbing a 20kg bag of pool salt into Tiger supporters open wounds with a wire brush. We think they're a bit salty now.. just imagine...

Anyone else think its weird that Tom Lynch hasnt come out and said he has picked Richmond. He said out of respect to the teams playing still in the finals he would wait until that team had ended its campaign before announcing his preference. Richmond season is over and he still has not nominated Richmond.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it could well be us. It was down to Hawthorn, Richmond or Collingwood. Hawks and Tigers are done. Only leaves us.

He will look like the biggest prick if he changed his mind and picked us

But he hasn't come out and definitely said he is going to Richmond. All the conversations of his choice of club l have heard centre around presumption it is Richmond, but nothing concrete. He could come out and say he is going to Carlton or St Kilda for all we know....

Actually spoke to a guy at one of my customer locations, his a mad Tigger supporter & knows Paul Conners. Lynch made Tiggers choice over a year ago.

If Lynch isn't able to spend minutes each quarter giving Nankervis a chop out in the ruck then Richmond will be left in an interesting position as it's unlikely they'll continue the experiment of using Grigg as the relief ruck next year.

Add Lynch and a 2nd ruck to the 22 and it's a significant enough change to the winning mix of the past 2 seasons and will likely be done at the expense of forward pressure.

I highly doubt he is coming to us, but in saying that he should just come out and say that he requests a trade to Richmond. A few players have already come out and said they want a trade to a nominated club in the past 2 weeks, dont see why he can't do the same.
