its pretty sad stated of affairs when you have supporters of 3 different clubs backing up the north supporters here.

geelong was fine, there was really only 1 player actively employing the tactic. the wce is completely different story, they have obviously trained/practiced and instructed their players to employ the tactic.

hams wouldnt kick as many goal as he has this season without the tactic.

Isn't it annoying when a champion footballer resorts to umpire conning to get a few soft frees? He really ought to be better thanthat, and have a bit more self-respect.

What does WC getting a free kick just because one of our players completed a tackle over the boundary line have to do with being first to the ball?

What does Swallow being molested in a marking contest at the end of the 3rd qtr and no free kick have to do with being first to the ball?

I'm obviously referring to the 'Duckers' tag that's been dished out, hence I'm only talking about head high contact in this case.

Yes some of those were strange, I'll agree. But you can't seriously tell me that some/all AFL umpires are deliberately favoring us? Do you genuinely think that?

The worst umpiring performance ive ever seen in my life was a couple of seasons ago against Weegirls at Subi, it was one of the few times ive genuinly felt like the umpiring had a direct result on the game.

Today was not as bad, but it was close... I dare anybody to say the umpiring did not favour the home team.

Weegirls supporters must be really proud of supporting a team like that

Just so frustrating to watch. Was getting as irritated watching the Eagles flop around inside 50 as i would have if it had of been against the Blues.

The Hams one in the last was the classic case. Picks up ball, charges at north player and at first sign of contact throws the head back and buries head even further into the tackle. At no stage did he have any interest in actually disposing of the ball. He was there purely to try and get a free kick

Whist I will be the first to admit that we have had the better of 50/50 decisions at times, to suggest that the umpires have an agenda, or that we are favored by them is, to be brutally honest, the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Exactly what's the reason they favor us? Go on, have a think. Give me one good reason is there for the umpires to favor us?
The main reason the free kicks are in our favor is BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN THE FIRST TO THE BALL. The way the game has been played and umpired for over 100 years suggests that, yes indeed, the free kick count should be in our favour if we are first to the ball.
And finally- since when does the friggen free kick count have to be even?

All we want to see is a free kick being paid both ways. Rarely happened today.

You don't seem to realise that North fans (in general) have always had a lot of time for the Eagles, until now.
