Yeah exactly, it's what most clubs would have done. Some communication would have been nice from the club..

I checked my emails earlier on, last year they were available the Monday after we got bundled out of the finals. Most likely will be a repeat.

One interstate collector contacted the club and received their jumper in the post yesterday (complete with COA & tin). Knowing that one guernsey had already been sent out, another person rang the store only to be told that it wasn't possible for anyone to have theirs because they are not ready yet. Work that out.

Up to that particular collector if they want to share photos of their jumper here.

Thats crazy. Is it possible said collectors jumper is of a player that has no chance of playing again this season?

The sceptic in me always questioned that the club may keep them in case they need to use them again (ie another Adam Goodes style booing saga).

I have held back in calling or emailing the club as I am sure there would be 40 others doing so.

The player is currently in our best 22.

Call them anyway. If they have 40 people calling them, then tough. They have no right to get narky when they continually make no effort whatsoever to communicate with those who have given the club up to thousands of dollars.

Fair to assume it's the AFL COA holding up the auction items once again.

But that's a bit comical that one person has been sent out, and the store is ignorant to it.

So I called the store. Was firstly told still waiting on certificates. In same phone call was then told they are now ready but I will have to wait for a call this week to collect (today being Friday...).

It boggles my mind how they still cannot get this right...How hard is it to give correct information? I would not be fussed about a wait if they acted even remotely competent... you call up and ask about the jumpers and most of the time they have no idea what you are even talking about!

Just looked them up and honestly thought they played a lot more games for us than they did.

Nope, was told I would hear from them last week. But good luck if you call and get through to the 'manager'... super rude, keeps saying 'dunno' to any queries (?!) and then flat out refuses to put you through to anyone else who might know. Fun times.
