Let's assemble the dream team of who is out there at the moment.

Choco as Head Development Coach to work with all the young guys.
Worsfold as Forward Line coach to maximise return on our young talls.
Matthews as Midfield coach to run the middle of the ground.
Bomber as Backline coach to ensure they defender hard and then play a geelongesque running style out of defence.
Scott Wynd as a specialty ruck coach.

Then make Grant and Brad co-senior coach, purely as a figurehead position to talk to fans and front the media.

What's to say Monty didn't raise it with Macca first and then take those steps when he was ignored or brushed aside?

All I'm saying to everyone is don't go off half-cocked only knowing a small portion of the information available.

I will be gobsmacked if Monty keeps his job let alone get promoted. I will be stunned if Lowe keeps his job.

Everyone has an opinion, that's mine, I think its considered and based on clear and undisputable evidence that our club has had a massive breakdown in people management, communication and culture, we'll see how it unfolds.

As soon as someone can definitively explain to me what Chris Grant's responsibilities are and how he was derelict in them I'll agree he deserves criticism. But right now it's all guesswork by emotional supporters looking for scapegoats.

Chris Grants main role lasted 7 days a very long time ago.. .

Mate I kind of agree, but they have all indicated they didn't know the extent of the problems until Griffen went to them, that is too late, the damage was done.

I will bet my bottom dollar that the Board is asking Chris and Simon very hard questions right now. And because they are very decent, high achieving people who are committed to the Bulldogs, they will be asking themselves the same questions and are no doubt devastated right now.

It's not guessing, we know it f@cked up, and we know the reporting lines - Graham Lowe - Garlick - Grant - Board.

Lowe has to be gone. Garlick and Grant will learn a lot from this, Gordon and the Board will make damn well sure of it.

Garlick can't afford any more screw ups of this magnitude.

I can understand and agree with most of that, but the reality seems it was the players who either didn't voice their discontent to the leadership group, the leadership group to senior management or senior management didn't take it seriously.
I'm not sure who's at fault as I wasn't there, therefore I'm loathe to lay blame at anyone, least of all a favourite sun who bleeds our colours. Let it all come out and then I'd reassess everyone's accountability, from president down to Lin Jong.

Grant is a club Board Executive and his position is to be the conduit from the Club Board to the Football department.

Except for the CEO. All Club Board positions a voluntary, not paid.

OK 5, forgot about King. Anything is possible I suppose. But again I'm intrigued. There must be a player, even if it was only one (which I doubt), who liked, maybe even loved Macca. So that player, what is it about that player that tells us about Macca.

Yeah really we just don't know enough to make an informed decision tbh. I was a macca fan but its time to move on now because its done, exciting times coming up mate!

Moving on with out understanding and putting into place a process to avoid a repetition is also not right.
Monty was the senior assistant his job is to support BMac not to undermine him
If he felt BMac as out of line and losing the playing group it was his role to work with BMac
If that failed to inform management

Either way so where along the line it all failed

But Robbo was clearly saying Montgomery has dirty hands
And said he would love to interview him

I suggest unless Montgomery gets on the front foot here he can kiss even an assistant coaching job goodbye
Its a small industry under a large microscope

That's pretty damn vague. How does he do those things? Who reports to him? What does he do on a daily/weekly basis? Is he in charge of hiring and firing the people who report to him?

Funniest bit was Robbo saying(paraphrasing) 'I don't know anything but but but Montgomery, where did he sit? I don't know anything but I think he might have stabbed him in the back but I don't know anything so I'd love to talk to him, geez they're a rabble' (Pretty just nailed a bloke to the cross - rightly or wrongly)

FWIW. Years ago I spoke to Eade after an event and not long after he left the Bulldogs and he said he hated Monty.

Went on to say that he and Wendy made life long friends at the Bulldogs, but he had never come across a bloke in footy he disliked as much as Monty but exactly say why. Other than he believed that he was white anted by Monty when he need him most. I tried to get more out of him but he pulled up.

Pretty simple. I'm not a journalist, I like to deal in fact rather than guesswork and heresay. Right now I do not have anywhere near enough information to condemn or hold accountable anyone in our football club apart from Ryan Griffen (and even then I'd like to hear his side of the story). So I'm either forced to hold off until there is more information or trust those in power to know far more than I and hold accountable those that deserve it.

Not a very inflammatory position I know but I'd rather direct my ire at the right person/people as opposed to rally to get an innocent man or woman sacked/punished for something they didn't do.
