I still like J Mac over Shiel.Might as well dig this thread up after its been left well alone during the bye rounds!
Shiel vs JMac? Earlier in the year JMac was the "safer" option.. but now Im liking the look of Shiel, even seen him drift behind play a bit to rack up a few +6s and taking the marks from kick ins.
But they are playing the Swans.. Shiel may not get much open space and JMac may thrive, get his 10 tackles playing on Bolton..
O and I dont even have to ask for Zorko v Porpz, no contest! (cue Porpz to kick a bag on Matt Dea or something!)

Pavlich v Collingwood, Yes I have the Pav and worried at Full Forward against the Pies it could be a lean one
Anyone trade Campbell in tossing up whether to start him over Giles?
Similar to my problem (see above). I reckon if Freo start getting belted, Pav is a chance to be thrown to the midfield so should still score ok, and he has been pretty good lately. Is a real toss of a coin
Yeah my head says Martin not quite what I expected so bench him but my gut says Pav is gonna get smashed against Collingwood. Lyon is less inclined to throw Pav in the mids then Harvey was.
this is my predicament
my mids are
Pendles, Swan, Boyd, Thompson, Gaj and priddis with zorko and gibson on the bench
My Fwds are
Stevie j, Chapman, Franklin, Dangerfield, Robinson, Beams and sidebum, with Crozier and Sexton on the bench
Pendles is still out so will have to start one of gibson or zorko.
My question is
Should i start zorko and risk having no cover for perhaps a late withdrawal from chap or frank
or do i start gibson and move zorko to fwds and cover late withdrawals?

Gibson IMO. Starting to get to the stage of the season where there will be more late withdrawals than earlier in the year.
My question - Ellis or Sam Shaw? Gibson or Clay Smith?

Warnock not in side is good for Kreuzer
My thoughts are Giles if Brogan not named (extended bench) Kreuzer if Brogan named.

Mohr - Shaw quiet last week and Mohr will be getting a lot of it coming his way this week!
Due to injuries and suspension, I have to pick 3 out of Treloar, Adams, Horsley and Gibson ...... any suggestions as to who to leave out? Was thinking Horse or Gibson on the bench ........
Not sure if this is really start on field but my emergencies are Tim McIntyre and Treloar (clearly Treloar better)

Newman (West Coast) vs Sam Gibson?. Newman scored like a jet when he was on, but he was a sub last week and worried he might be again.

looking at the eagles line-up and how they used gaff etc early, i'd be assuming he will come on as a super-sub again ........... i'd be hitting up gibson on form for sure!
newman won't score like that every week, he was gifted some easy goals in trash time

Gibson one good game is unlikely to replicate that against West Coast. (may be bias but they do limit DT scoring)
