I didn't get 101:1 because someone must have placed a big bet on North just beforehand. But still a massive payout should we pull off the improbable. We should have beaten the Hawks. Beat Adelaide and Bulldogs. Only went down to Sydney by two goals. We have some stealth potential in this final series. I'm with Donkey Chop. And if we do win the Elim I don't want to hear any media flogs jumping back on.

Great work, DC. With all the fear and loathing going on around here at the moment, it's like Finals have become an afterthought, and the suggestion of getting behind the boys is anathema.

The hand-wringers have had a pretty good run of late, so fingers crossed this thread doesn't just digress to the usual, boring round of abject negativity and asinine condescension directed at those of us that are bizarre enough to still have an interest in season 2016. (Cos' apparently it's bad form to hang shit on the poor delicate flowers who threatened to withdraw their membership over Boomer's retirement, but backing in your team makes you fair game to be ridiculed.) The season is still alive. And the self-pitying thing has been done to death. Here's hoping the less staunch types can keep a lid on it for one thread.

Anyways, I'm on board. Love the inspirational thread title, too. It's a motto that took Annabel Chong to new, uncharted heights, so hopefully it can do likewise for us. Go North.

Experience of the past two years says finals is a new game and a game North is good at. Still undermanned, but our second stringers played well enough to beat Hawks and Swans this season. Ready to barrack hard.
