Clearly album of the year.

One of the few instances where the hype is warranted.

I would have Josh Homme's babies.

Grohl and JPJ scrub up alright too.

I'm not a huge QOTSA or Fooies fan, but it is growing on me, especially the first half of the album.

Had a few listens now, very solid. For the most part, it sounds like QOTSA trying to make a White Stripes record, which is awesome as it sounds. Pretty psyched for the gig now, album sounds like it's made for getting yr ****ing dance on...

I just picked this up from JB Hi-Fi for $19.99

After giving it a bit of a listen, my first impression is that the production of this album is phenomenal.

Every thing sounds so clean and crisp.... it's like a 70's hard rock album.

Amazing. This album is still growing on me.

I love how it's a complete album.... it hasn't got 1 or 2 singles and then 7 or 8 fillers.

I can't pick a favourite.... every single song has at least one insane part.

I double checked and it's definitely meant to release tomorrow for Australia.

I have no idea why we get it so much earlier, but i'm not complaining.

I work in music at jb - as long as we get our stock in we'll put it on the shelves (unless it's on embargo like some games and cds like MW2 and new Mario game). So them crooked vultures was on the shelves today.

Nobody knew however, I told some guy it was out and he was pleasantly surprised, and obviously bought a copy. On the other hand Powderfinger is out tomorrow and we didn't have that out today - it depends on the record label to when it comes in and when we put it out. Haven't heard it yet myself. Will probably purchase though.
