Gus, Howat, Hall, Gaspar, Moore, Bowden.P, Hartigan, Kingsley.

All fair except Howat will probably stay for depth. How quickly we turn on our own though, just 5 weeks or so ago we were hailing him as "the smart, skilled version of greg tivendale". And say what you want about tivendale, but hes played alot of games (most consecutive) and quite a few good ones.

Trade: McGuane, Meyer, Pettifer, Schulz, Tivendale, Tuck.

Need McGuane for depth, Pettifer is going to stay hes value to the team is much higher than his trade value (everyone hates/underrates him), Tivendale will stay unfortunately, Tuck has lost alot of trade value this year and is probably needed for hardness in the midfield given our skinnyness.

We wont get anything for meyer, and we certainly wont get our value back for schulz.

Hardly groundbreaking stuff there.

What are you? a reporter in North Korea? or have you found Bin Laden?

Only Tuck and Pettifer are tradable and even then, they're not worth diddly squat on the open market.
Wouldn't even get an empty jar of Vegemite for the others.

Vegemite is better than players mentioned there I agree!

get real, the club got hardly any decent players coming up and cant afford to let anyone go. the drafts are too mediocre to break into the senior. the club cant top up iots list with another set of equally as useless drafts.

Let's say Tuck gets back to his 2005 form and improves on it for the remainder of the year.

What would Pick 19 + Tuck be worth if we wanted to trade up our pick? Pick 8?

No doubt we will try to trade one of our many inside midfielders again this year, surely GM will get what he wants this year.

Tuck, Pettrified, schulz and pick 18 for pick 2 and Nathan Jones.

Fair enough sentiments but it will never happen. Trade 6 guys? Doubt it.

We'll be really lucky to get rid of 2 players in the trade week.

We only need to delist 5-7 guys. Presumably we'll go one short on the list so we can snare Judd in the PSD. Ha ha. I mean someone in the PSD.

I think we'll keep Tuck because he is the only man mountain we have to play on the ball. Of the players you listed, Pettifer may be trade bait. He probably has enough upside to tempt someone. Schulz is hardly doing enough to entice the SA clubs to trade for him.

The other guys you listed might get drafted in the PSD for free. We are too shit for anyone to rate those players, and fair enough.

Howatt isn't on our senior list, and can't be on the rookie list again, he won't be here again next year, hasn't shown enough, and we have to find room for him to get on, King is the only Rookie that really deserves to be elevated, we can't really afford to find two extra spots to let Howatt on.

please stop being so stupid

so yeah lets get rid of one of our hard in and under players

who actually has experience and pick 19 for pick 8

just look at 2005 draft

jarrod oakley nicholls was pick 8

courtney dempster was like 19

so its like saying we will get trade tuck and dempster for oakley nicholls

dempster has played 5 games averaging 8.8 disposals

nicholls has played 7 games averaging 5.6 disposals

basically its obvious to everyone none had done much

but dempster has been better

so yeah lets take a stupid risk this year and get rid of tuck and pick 19

for pick 8

i think you will find knobel will be gone before angus graham, graham was always going to be a long term project and has shown vast improvement this year, so i think he will stay

Hahaha ironically that was one of the stupidist posts I have read in a while :)

Mate, we have ALREADY tried to offload Tuck. Throw in the explosion of Foley and it is stupid to assume Tuck is suddenly safe!

You can live in your fairy dreamworld delight where we don't offer our okay players for trades, I will continue with reality because Tuck will be offered in a trade again just like he was last year :thumbsu:

It doesn't mean he will go - West Coast have tried to offload Chad Fletcher for several years now with no buyers.
