I think the only time I lashed out was when we used to get the double dole cheque at xmas/new year

Fun times

*thats why there is a picture of me on the crime board with BH Silver

Couldnt afford B&H

I smoked when I was younger but it was never Benson and Hedges, it was usually Peter Jackson or Winfield as they were cheaper.

I couldn't afford to smoke these days with the ridiculous price of cigarettes.

Watching these show.

Lighthouse keeper said one carton of beer per fortnight..

Even beers were cheaper back then.
And the cricket pic I posted before.
You used to be able to take a carton of beer into the cricket.

How things change.

Yet people back then still complained that one carton of beer wasn't enough, I doubt I could even drink a whole carton of beer.

Sports gambling is in the same category as videogaming to me. Just never had any room for them in my adult life, feels a juvenile pursuit where I’d rather do other things.
They're not comparable at all.

The best school excursion we went on was to a pie factory where we got free pies at the end of it.
We went on an excursion of the Big M (known then as Moove) factory. We got free flavoured milk.

Comprehension isn’t your forte it seems. Read back within the context of my post. I’m not playing the wowser and saying video games are a comparable blight on society or similar activity. Just that neither have held any priority interest for me in adulthood. It’s not really something that can be argued (unless I was known to be lying about my habits, or ‘juvenile’ was perceived as misapplied).

Me either. I don't have anything against adults who play video games but to me I feel like I have a lot better things to do with my life. However you could say that about a lot of things like watching movies or even the footy, both of which I enjoy.

You could be a character in a cross fit video game 🎮 😁.

My son's got an Xbox, I occasionally see the new whizz bang game like Star Wars and think it might be worth getting. But after work, raising kids etc, I tend to prefer watching a movie, I try to find some time to read books, I just think I'm not gonna end up playing it so why bother buying it. I love going to these pubs with old arcade games, I'll play the occasional game of Tetris on the Switch because that is the king of games, but otherwise it's too low priority.
