I dealt with a massive first worlder yesterday. Got a new pair of sunglasses and my phone wouldn’t open with facial recognition so had to reset it with my new glasses on. 🙁
Funny enough.

If police find a dead body and the use thier phone and open it up with the dead body face.

Could be worse.

People not driving with lights on in the rain.
Was raining super heavy ..almost pull over and wait heavy was a touch scary.
Yet fuu all cars driving with lights ob.

One night I had a car approaching me, they were using there high beams because both headlights were out.

So they drove past me with no lights on and the road wasn't straight either.

And they were probably still trying to drive at the speed limit
Crazy how many drivers will drive at speed in any conditions, rain , fog , dark , twilight/ dawn with animals on the road , roadworks .
Everyone is in such a hurry to go nowhere .
Muppets

Driving is becoming frustrating most of the time,

Around my way many roads where the speed limit was 70 or 80 ten years ago are now 60.

It's made driving more tedious and I'm not sure it's made it any safer.

No way it has, everyone's checking their speedos and not looking at the road

Just yesterday saw a mum with two toddlers trying to cross at traffic lights and some dickhead was right across the entire pedestrian crossing. The mum told them to back up as they had space and they rolled down the window and cussed her out.

Hayden Young re-signed with Freo in 2022 until the end of 2027 and just re-signed again until the end of 2033.

Why are AFL clubs in an arms race to have the longest player contracts?

Nothing against Hayden Young he's great but FMD we've already seen with Angus Brayshaw what can happen with long term deals.
We have seen players walk out and get traded while in contract.

Piggy Oliver wanted to leave the Dees and held to he's contract .

Yeah some deals seem waay to long .

I think it is more locking them in long term on the sort of money that halfway through the deal will be seen as unders.

I would've thought with him signing during 2022 he would be on unders relative to 2024 output, and he was already on the books for 3 more years. I follow the NBA a bit and like that contracts have a max 5 year length and a max % of salary cap (obviously different in a 5 a side game vs 18) and you have to earn it. I have no problem with Nick Daicos getting a massive contract after his 2 or 3 year rookie deal, but someone like Mac Andrew should not be eligible for $1m a year long term. But yeah under the rules as they are clubs can do what they like. If Young ends up selling himself $1m short over his career that is also his call.

I never understood Alistair Lynch contract for 10 years

I also felt he could have made more money but maybe he also felt it had controls in place in case of injury etc

Noone though Franklin was going to see out his contract.

A.Lynch brealy left the goal square 😂.

The problem is the 40 zones, when people go from 60 to 40 that's when it happens i reckon, 40 is very slow for a major road.
Fair .

But lots of schools on main roads 40 K at school times as normal slows traffic at school times.
One road at least was 80ks then down to 40.

60 were stated.
50 in build up areas.
40 is now common in busy shopping CBD areas etc.
Normally where lots of people Xings .

In my area speeds have gone down.
70 to 60s.
80 to 70s.
Does not seem much but you notice the difference.

I can't even remember the last time I saw a speed limit of 70. 40, 60, 80 and 100 I see daily. I wish I saw 80 and 100 a lot more though...
I've got a lot of 70 zones around my area

school drop off goes 60 > 70 > 40 > 60 > 50 > 10 (through the drop off area)

I drove though each one of them speeds inc 110 coming back home to Vic last week.

But then the player gets pissed off and asks for a trade. There has been a fair few that have been frontloaded and then walked for a bigger deal at another club. Ablett and I think Bryce Gibbs as well.
