I'd love to have to get someone to cut my hair :(

I've taken my beard to the barber before, but it's really just spending money for the vibe of the place, deluding myself into thinking it's a service I need.

my brother has noticeably amazing eyelashes. he has those startling googly innocent light blue eyes which maybe accentuate the lashes a bit, idk

I walked past a group of people playing cricket at the beach.
The dad was thrown the ball instead of bowling it.
I go past and say that action abit subject.
They gave me a grumpy face .
Then he throws another one.
Then I say no ball....

My 2 boys and i go to the same hairdresser thats friend of ours and she trims all 3 of our bonces in about 35 minutes. I was trying to convince the youngest to get a rats tail to show Mum for Xmas. Friend who cuts hair advised strongly against it

I get that everyone values their time, expertise, worth etc but some people need to get a grip

My daughter has moved and looking for a new hairdresser closer to where she lives. I didn’t realise that some places now like to do a consult and quote prior to booking an appt. The consult is a non refundable $50 but is deducted from the final bill

Back from her consult and we’ve had to revive her with smelling salts

$780 for cut,color, foils

Are you ****ing insane
She declined the quote

I congratulate people in creative industries knowing their worth.

They don't have to lower their prices because people who obviously aren't their target market can't afford them.

Probably about 3cm below the shoulders

There is nothing on this planet that justifies those prices for hair.

Who the hell are you to tell other people what their skills are worth? What do you know about their skills and expertise and how they obtained them?

Was a bloody quick about face from this:

I get that everyone values their time, expertise, worth etc

Well that is bullshit, I mean do any tradies ever charge for a quote for just one example?

I pay $25 bucks in the joint at my local shopping centre food court, in and out in 4 mins sometimes i reckon, too easy.
