my favs when the left lane ends but its a dotted line, so the person coming over actually has to give way and you dont slow down to let them in and then you get abused if they get in behind you or pull up beside at a set of lights

its then fun explaining if theres no dotted line and it just ends then the person in front has the right of way, but if its a dotted line....you have to give way you ****ing moron as you're changing lanes and you had ****ing ages to actually get across as there is signs for about 600 meters yet you wanted to wait till the last 4 meters.

if you dont know how to drive you should prob catch a bus

The worst…
Those indicating to change lanes but then are too scared to move unless there’s a semi trailer length between them and the car in the lane they are crossing in to

Just flipping change lanes

Literally had this argument with my son this evening. First long drive as a passenger in the two years since he got his Ps and he was consistently holding his line/speed. Three times he could (should) have either lifted or moved to the central lane to allow others to easily merge onto the highway. Each time the merging car had to slow significantly to fall in behind - dramatically increasing their speed differential to the flowing traffic. (The last car didn't - clearly assuming we would back off - and nearly caused an accident when they just turned into the lane (when we were still beside them).

I actually went to show him the road rule about zipper merging and....I was wrong. As far as I was concerned, the car in front ALWAYS had right of way. Apparently changed around 20 years ago in Tasmania, but I've only ever seen P platers being this obnoxious. Turns out they're taught that way because it's actually the law (that's wrong).

If they can you should move to the right lane and leave your lane free for merging

Its not a law but it is courtesy and common sense

There are no winners in the morgue

People seem to get on bicycles and motorbikes on the left side too. No horses and swords involved.

I'm still calling it as something I just don't understand.
I'd suggest kick stands play a part with bikes

and all of this goes back to more people being right handed than left handed

Kick stand plays the entire part with bikes.

Trying to mount a motorbike on the opposite side of the kick stand would be hilarious.

So far we've heard that people get on horses because of their swords and that bicycles are built for right handed people. I guess a meme battle will help us understand the phenomenon.
