Two schoolgirls (~16) on my tram today were trying to figure out what 'MP' stood for. One suggested "Minister of Prime".

They were Wesley College students ($30k+ per year). Money well spent.

hahaha. you probably saw the public school kids who mugged the wesley students, took their uniform and bags.
 
I actually call Moonee ponds "MP" sometimes too.

Off topic maybe, but Moonee Ponds is an incredibly underrated Melbourne suburb. Moonee Ponds Central is good value, too.

The good book shop is gone tho.

BUt yeah i agree- MP is fantastic. Queens Park, library... shops, cafes. All thats missing is maybe a little cinema.
