It's all US Navy and fighter jet nerd stuff that I don't care about apart from Maverick and Goose flying upside down just above the Mig. It's still a fun scene though. And based on a real photo. But it's an illusion. The two planes are not actually as close as they appear. The upper one is several metres to the side of the lower one.
