Things that please me - Part 5

One of favourites was my friend went to see his friend all the way down in Albany from Perth for his birthday. Apparently after they all went out for a while he gets a call from the Mrs "I think there was someone in our yard!" so he had leave them to go home for the night. Both my friend and myself agreed knowing her she almost certainly made it up just to stop him having a night out but I mean it also could have been true which is why he understandably left.

Same mate bought tickets to his old footy club function a month in advance, about $60 uber from home and tickets were $120.

She rings in him a 'panic' claiming to hear noises inside. He goes home and she's not even there, he rings her "Oh I got called into work". Didn't think to tell him so he could stay out at the event he paid for...

Psychopath imo

If it really happened wouldn't you ring the police is the first question you uave to ask..

That is where a second TV comes into play.
We have a second TV. Hardly ever use it unless our footy games clash. We used to watch (have on) morning programs before work, to keep up with time, now seldom watch more on it than a weather report or headlines.

Jeezus - maybe she doesn’t want a second tv due to a tight budget

Maybe it’s so he doesn’t get stuck on his arse watching tv all day while she’s busting a gut with his kids

I wonder how many guys need a “list” if she’s going away for a weekend and how many call mum in for support

We don’t know any details and yet here it is the woman again on the receiving end

We’ve got 3 TVs in seperate rooms and I still end up watching stuff on my phone or laptop some days like a chump. ☹️

Agree with the sentiment in general but if you're replying to the replies to my mate, she deserves the ridicule and then some. Control freak nutter

In a general sense / my experience - guys are ALOT more receptive to the girls going away for a girls night/weekend than vice versa though.

She sounds completely nutso
She was actually diagnosed with a personality disorder and was put in hospital at least once.

I was actually good friends with her as well and look I'll be honest it was definetly half my fault that we fell out but of course I took 100% of the blame.

Idk if I could be in a relationship if I'm honest.

Right now im watching Kill Bill cos I feel like it. Then I'll be watching a whole lot of tennis in the coming next few weeks. If a partner tried to stop me from doing that there would be an issue
secret to a long lasting relationship is both parties undetrstanding and respecting the others personal time and space.

When doing online banking that requires a bank token, which provides a numerical code every 60 seconds. And this process requires entering a live code, then waiting for the next one to confirm transactions. What pleases me is when you pick up said token it shows a code that's expiring in less than 10 seconds, so by the time you confirm the transaction, a new code is up.

Seperate bedrooms are the key to success
Not jokin'
Can't put a price on a good night sleep
cpap machine saved me from being strangled by my wife for snoring

Or you could just try this if your snoring is too much for HBF. 😁
We are totally incompatible sleepers. He snores like a freight train and needs complete silence (go figure) whereas I need white noise and a fan on.
