Love the complete over reactions to this from the MCG

My brother gave me Barbed Wire and Cucumber Sandwiches about the cancelled South African tour of England in 1970 and the Penguin Classics Stonewall Reader. He knows me well.

I laughed at all the negative emojis and comments to the A League Facebook page wishing everyone a Happy Holidays to everyone, despite the fact my club has a Muslim player (Aziz Behich) and a Jewish lad (Yonatan Cohen, whom is now my favourite Melbourne City player this player even though I am a Muslim, and he is a decorated Israeli international player)

The Boomer/Karen/Snowflake types who feel triggered by people and or organisations saying/wishing Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas are hopefully are dying breed of patrotic/bible thumping throwbacks.

I don't have any problem saying Merry Christmas and wishing those who celebrate it a very happy and peaceful one.

I also wish to say Happy Chanukkah to those who celebrate it, and that is also a holy festival that annually comes close to Christmas every year, and this is why I think Happy Holidays tends to pop up more often as a greeting this year too.

Although the right-wing bogans always try to find a way to blame Muslims/Middle Easten folks for trying to cancel Christmas, even though I know not one Muslim Aussie (including my cousin who is a very influential person in political and social levels) who has called on such unnecessary change.
