Bought a new couch.

Had my first nap on it today while watching the cricket.

Was an outstanding nap.

Attempted my 2nd nap on the couch today - it didn't go so well.

I accidentally rolled off the bloody thing with my head hitting the floor first. Genuinely thought I'd fractured my skull before considering that I may have overreacted.

Is this where you pay $$$ to be locked in a box and if they don't have to let you out, you've won? I need to be educated here, my knowledge of escape rooms is about the same as my knowledge of skibidi toilet whatever.
Just remember that extras cost extra.

I shouldn’t take pleasure in this but my mother in laws side of the family is a bit nuts. Anyway today was the day my daughter’s boyfriend was going to meet them all. We’d been warning him they are a bit crazy and my wife got a bit defensive so we stopped saying it. Anyway the boyfriend decided he was going home before they rocked up so we had a nice family lunch without him. The day went great no weirdness u til the end of the day when the boyfriend rocks up right as one of the 70 year old sisters starts fighting with her sister in law and pushes her over into a door frame almost knocking her out.

Welcome to the family I say to the boyfriend 😂😂😂.

Selling something on marketplace and had the typical ‘scam’ message come through. I live really far away and can’t collect, but it’s for my son blah blah blah.

Genuinely ended up being a very old father who was buying something for his son, took him about an hour but he managed to transfer me funds and I’m gonna post the item to him tomorrow.

Just got into "pressure canning" over these holidays and have been stocking my pantry with jars of shelf-stable potatoes, chicken, venison stew and just finishing up a batch of French onion soup.

I love doing these little projects where I learn a new skill thats actually something really old and results in a positive to me and my family. The history of food preservation is really nerdy and cool.

Why is it called pressure canning if you put the food in jars?
