I've been lucky enough to have seen Michael Jordan play about four times at the United Centre and that place can get wild. Glad to see Josh bringing back some of the excitement.

I cannot begin to tell you how extremely jealous of you mate !!

Wonder if you had any iinkling the times watching MJ at the United Centre that you were witnessing the greatest basketball player that's ever lived ???

The Bulls have been down for way too long, it's good to see another historic franchise like the Detriot Pistons find their way back to being playoff contenders after so many years in the Abyss.

Also your consecutive game record of home game sell outs is nuts to me, even when the Bulls have been fodder in the Eastern Conference

You Illinois folks sure love your Hoops !

His last 3 months of Hoops has been simply outstanding, definitely projecting to be an all star as early as next season.

Something has finally clicked for Josh and its just been great to see.

Bendigo's Dyson Daniels is also making a big name this season for Atlanta, definitely will make the All Defensive First Team.

Even Ben Simmons has been playing good Hoops for The LA Clippers.

So proud of our Aussie Boys in the NBA Rn.
The fact he left his arm up holding the shot like he knew it was going in makes it instantly legendary. Channeling his inner MJ from 98

Over Karl 'scumbag' Malone too made that final shot by MJ in a Bulls uniform all the more special !

I was lucky that my nephew was able to get tickets each time I went home for Christmas. One year, he couldn't, so we went to a Blackhawks hockey game instead. I did get to see Wayne Gretsky play that night. He was on the St Louis Blues, so it must have been 1996.

I have a carton of Bulls memorabilia that I collected during the 90s. I'll be looking to offload it in the near future, depending on how my health goes. When I was downsizing, I found a Bulls key chain given to patrons Jordan's rookie year. The game was against the Celtics on Jan 9th 1985. I also have my ticket. It cost $25 for a floor seat back then I think. The Bulls lost.

I also have a crate of Chicago Cubs stuff from the '00s that I hope to pass on to a worthy Cubs fan. I can't take it with me.

Neeson is cool. I’ve heard a few stories of him being a good guy. I remember he was filming here once and cafe around the corner from their shoot named a sandwich after him and put a sign out to get his attention. He went in, had a good chat with owner and staff and paid for all the patrons leaving a generous tip.
He also told a story to a newspaper about how he spent a week walking the streets at night hoping to get in a random fight with a black man to kill them.

Didn't matter who, just as long as they were black, because a friend of his got sexually assaulted.

Cherry blossoms always come out around my birthday (tomorrow). Been a bit dreary so thought we might not get them.

Heard on news this morning that we have them because Japan gifted about 400 of them after WWI. Now there are thousands around.

I had one in my yard at a previous house

Beautiful for a week

When my mum.and dad were on their honeymoon in the US in like the 70s they were in the lobby of the hotel and my dad was chatting to a guy and it ended up being Charlton Heston (Dad wouldn't have known who he was I don't think)

He joined them for a game of tennis and a drink after apparently.

Did he die at the end?

That was Charlton Heston's signature move in every flick he made...

I met Pete Sampras at the height of his tennis career. I was in the business class lounge in Auckland grabbing some nice cold meats before flying to LA when he came in waving a plate because the first class lounge had run out. We shared tongs and the conversation was basically how that was OK but this was really good, he thought my shirt was great, I thought he was playing in Melbourne at the AO but "I had a shit day today, decided to go home" and that was that. Parted with smiles.

Did you know the story Agassi tells about him in his book and the valet?

Closest I came to being interested in basketball was when the 36ers sacked their coach for smoking pot which is presumably how he tolerated watching the game. That said I watch a game that goes for five days and sometimes nobody wins so who am I to judge?

I've never liked basketball. Aussie or NBA.

Would rather watch the five day cricket crap
