Don't know, I did a preseason game there some years ago and the year before last the VAFA umpires used it for preseason training. Entitled Brahhton dog owners letting their pooches run amok on the oval as we froze our **** off under lights.
Must be something about Brighton, one very rainy day at South Rd I did the pre-game check and discovered a huge doggy do on the behind line, went to the canteen to ask for a plastic bag so I could get rid of it and a very snarky Old Brighton clubman gave me a "we're environmentally conscious, we don't use plastic bags here" line before insisting on going out into the rain to deal with it himself because he'd just inspected the ground and didn't see anything.
Having satisfied himself that I wasn't lying about the presence or size of the turd, the bereft-of-plastic-bag clubman decided to kick it over to the boundary.
Remember what I said about it being very rainy?
Maybe a quarter of it reached the fence, the rest was a big smear on the ground and all over his expensive brown loafers.
I don't know if he was swearing at the situation or swearing at me, but he wasn't happy trudging back to the canteen.
