The fact that my parents fridge has absolutely nothing good in it. Was just there, they were away so had free reign. I ended up with 2 greek cakes and some cheese slices. (im outta cheese)

Otherwise just shit food- fruit, veg, nuts, and dark fking chocolate.

Lol - just heard a similar whinge from one of my kids

I don’t buy biscuits, cakes, chips, chocolates - the only aisles I go down when I have to are cleaning and toiletries

Do you go to fruit shops/markets- or do you have your own slaughter house out the back. DYI meat.

I've got into baking recently, it's nice to be able to offer some homemade biscuits or cake to people.

My neighbour makes us those crescent shaped biscuits which are delicious but my favourite Greek dessert they make mainly for special occasions is a pastry dish - layer upon layer of filo and honey (not sure what they call it - other than heart attack)

I gotta get off my ass, get down to the local butcher. But then again I really dont buy that much meat or chicken tbh. Am a lazy af cook. When i go out tho, ill eat a steak, for sure.

I baked some biscuits for Anzac Day and got a taste for baking. Now I'm turning out a batch of biscuits or cake most weekends. Nothing beats the taste of them when they're still warm.
