Scott showed what a dynamic football mind can conjure. They shut down our ball winners and choked momentum in the second half.

Im just glad we're the fittest club in the AFL, or whatever the greatest football mind in history said about the list before the season.

Is there any real reason to believe Bevo would be sacked this week? As opposed to any of the other ordinary losses of the last couple of years
Something about straws and camels. If not this week then surely soon.

Please don't make me barrack for the Saints next week KWW.

They analyse every knock on the boundary, I don’t know if they missed it, but the trainer should have gone to him. You don’t just “fall over” like that. Losing his balance and stumbling forward the way he did is not normal. I bet the AFL asks the question.
<3 minutes to go in the game and it was a behind the play hit. I'm really not sure if vision would have even made it to them before the game was over, or even for word to get to them about it. Really think the benefit of the doubt should be given here than to call out the medical professionals. The game was over, there was no need for shenanigans to keep him out there if they knew what had occured.

There was less than 3 minutes to go in the game so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt in not having seen the incident nor the vision, and if word got around that he'd taken a tumble could only go out to ask him if he was OK.

I definitely don't think Bevo should have commented on it though other than to say 'the doctors will look at it'.
Yes typical Beveridge, says plenty but no substance.

We are a middle of the road team coached by a coach who has lost whatever it was he had drifting to oblivion.

That was pathetic, no other words for it.

Dale, Daniel, Williams, Baker, Poulter all can go.

English would pull the contract now and try to get back in the first round this year.

Smith cash in while we can unless he really wants to stay. Maybe 2 picks in the first round.

Too many of our better players do not stand up when the pressure is on.

Beverage, done, bring in an interim coach and plan for 2025 and see if we can emulate the pies.

Get Garcia, Buss, Cleary and Clarke in ASAP and when Lobb is fit Lobb for English.

Will probably give us a better chance even this year but this cannot continue

Watched Buss closely. He is slow and shows no urgency. Cleary isn't the answer. McNeil was best in reserves in my opinion and he's certainly not the answer.
Garcia and Clarke (who was unsighted) for VDM or Gallagher.

Ed Richards matched up on Harrison Jones most of the game was ridiculously troll...

You constantly see the doctor looking at vision on the boundary line looking for possible concussions. I also think someone would be monitoring the tv commentary.

Not sure what game you watched but disagree with all particularly Mc Neil best in the reserves!!! He was de list worthy

Your opinion but Buss beat Weideman amd was anything but slow being involved in many movements from the backline.

Cleary not the answer yet good skills, good intercept mark and reasonable skill all better than Dale and now Durea so not sure what the question is.

Garcia should be in and not sure what you expect from a small forward in Clark

Was embarrassed after the 21 GF but was prepared to see what happened in 22 to fix the problems. We haven't and it starts at the top. Three years now and we're going backwards at a rapid rate.

We seem to have poor skills, Naughton needs a foot right up the arse it's a disgrace how often he misses easy shots, the amount of turnovers is mind blowing and we make the easy look incredibly difficult, it's painful to watch us play and has been for a while now.

Bulldog for Life, but won't be renewing my membership unless there is actual change and as well as a new coach we need a harder edge because we're soft and the poster boy for that is English. Can't remember a more inspid, timid, deplorable game than his tonight. He wasn't alone, but he encapsulated it perfectly.

Going to have a break from watching our games for a few weeks, sick of it.

'Look it’s a bad performance, but we were pretty good the previous three. Absolutely no one played particularly well tonight. Even if it’s not a successful year I’d much rather we compete and develop kids well etc than implode.'

Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly. But it seems to me you're implying that we not overreact and take solace in that 'we were pretty good the previous three' ?
Yeah sorry but that’s just not it. Maybe get a good night’s sleep in. You’re arguing with yourself.

He had just been crunched by - I think - Stringer (of all people) who crunched him from behind. With some venom, but a fair tackle. Took a while to get up after that which is unusual for Libba. The replay of the tackle didn't suggest a head knock, more likely to the side or the ribs. Hope there's no internal damage.

How quickly do you think they would get behind the play vision of an incident which wasn't shown on the main broadcast? There are only so many people doing this.

There was literally less than 3 minutes to go.
