Freo rested half their team for that game. We were basically playing Freos WAFL team. We will be 18th-16th on the ladder next year.

I disagree, not sure tonight relied on good skills and ball handling...pressure and locking the ball in limits how well you need to use it IMO.
We had ordinary users then, it's just not as evident in that kind of press.

We arent much worse off in the kicking department from the stuff shown in tonights final. Whoa there was some shonky shots on goal tonight.

To a degree. I think we will see improvement as the kids recruited recently take steps forward and play more games. I know one of the things we were looking at when recruiting was kicking skills, i.e. Webster. Also Newnes has shown some good things too re kicking.
Our two best kicks in recent times IMO are Goddard and Dal Santo. BJ is gone and Dal might be on his way out....

Herald sun today is reporting that the club are close to offering Scotty an extension. It's with the board and only a few days away. He disagrees with Mark Fines comments. Thinks he has strong support access the playing group.
