Tickets vs Geelong: How did you go?

Wandered in to the QV/Afl World at lunchtime today.

Picked up M55 Row A -- Olympic Stand in the pocket ON THE FENCE!!!! Woo-Hoo!! At about 12:30pm.

Two people in front of me. A couple buying swanky concert tickets for tonight and a little bloke with two Collingwood memberships who was about to burst if he didn't get his tickets soon.

He was all over the people in front of him, muttering 'cmon, cmon' over and over and huffing and puffing.

The guy serving was getting pissed with him and wasn't very helpful in finding him some seats. I was all smiles with lots of pleases and thank-yous and got these top seats!!

Got mine sitting with 2 others togother via phone with our memberships. We are picking them up at the ground and then I find out were us 3 are sitting.

I asked to sit amongst North members so they showed me what we had allocated. I took a punt on M51 Row Z, Olympic Stand. The last time I asked ticketmaster to sit me amongst North supporters I ended up in the Port cheersquad. I know I be sitting next to at least 2 other North supporters, thats guaranteed.

Did you buy any through the "Family ticket" section where you didn't have to give your barcode?

I just printed mine off and it doesn't say anything about a member on it, I only have a country m'ship and the 3 kids are junior roos, we don't get finals tickets but the family version didn't even ask. I paid i bit more for the adults ticket for my 12 year old but hey were going to the footy.
With thousands of people going through the gates good luck monitoring that.

I usually come down for 1 game a year now Canberra is finished, so what a week to be coming.

Thanks Huidini, I used your link and it took me all of 10 minutes. Just need to book some accomomdation for the kids and all will be sweet.
Does anyone know where m54 is at the G? any info appreciated.

The most important question is what is opened to get a quick drink after the game that is Kid friendly? the bar at telstra dome is fantastic after the footy.
Sip on a few green frogs , kids get filled up on coke and autographs, stagger back to the hotel - father of the year !

M54 is bottom level Southern Stand, on the right 50mtr arc.
(I'm M9 on the left 50mtr arc, and pretty happy about it)

I enjoy watching games from a few levels up... I enjoy watching the plays unfold... and since we left Arden Street I just seem to have lost that ability from ground level... but that is just me... I am sure you will have a great day there... especially when we whoop those puddycats...

Yeah, these tickets will look the same as someone who bought them on Wednesday without memberships, so I think its pretty safe. Anyway, its a floor in the Ticketmaster system, not our problem.

Going by everyone's posts no-one is sitting near me, and after being directed to the ticketmaster website for best tickets available, im paying an extra 20 bucks sitting with Geelong supporters!
