Wow, 1973 & '74 editions - pretty rare!

I've a copy of the 1980 GF Record, but not so rare; theyre always on ebay for about $20-$25.

Because all the players on our calendar still play for our team, so it's not as interesting as North's one.

Yep, thankfully my uncle kept them for all those years untill i got them a couple of years back. Hopefully they are joined by some more modern ones in the near future!

I wouldn't mind a 1980 record, might have to check out ebay.

Missus just bought me all the Tiger grandfinal Weg posters plus a few bonus prints of grand final captains. All ready to be placed up in the bar, however the cheapest frame I could find to fit is $34 (x15 posters= $510) Anyone got cheaper options for me?

Yeah, I settled for a slightly larger one and had a same colour white poster behind it so the weg poster appeared slightly larger. Actually here's a pic:

cheers, That was my plan also. Depending on how it looks/ sits I might use yellow backing paper with the black frame. If not the white will be the go. Cheers for the pic. Ill see if I can work out how to upload pics of mine

yer ebay. just printed copies. The bloke owned a store in Kilsyth around the corner from my parents place. Always wanted them but could never afford any as a youngster. Store is now closed, but managed to find them on ebay

yeah thanks mate this is what i thought. we used to be able to get mini's of the actual weg posters of the day and not the player styles but weg put a stop to it. wouldnt mind getting some copies of them if i can.

Sure is, hence the huge cost of framing. Would rather get them all done at once, but the missus would clearly argue that $500 could be spent elsewhere.

Buy some timber from Bunnings (this is not as paid post), head to the trade desk and get them to cut you some frames to size. Head to the glue section and glue/nail the ends together then head to the paint department and give them a nice coat of black paint.....finito. Might be worth a try.
